I don't mean to be rude, but wouldn't homura be a time player.
Don’t worry it’s fine! I’ve considered her as a time player, but I’ve come to the conclusion heart would work better for her. If you’ll take a moment„,
It seems as if time would be the most obvious aspect for her, with as how it works with having powers over time. Time players have been able to stop time for a moment (as Aradia did to stop Jack Noir at one point), and also time hop. Homura was able to repeat the same month over and over again, the only difference in this is that she didn’t have doubles building up.
The flip-side is that she didn’t find anything good in death or destruction.* Dave, Aradia, Caliborn, and Damara - all time players from Derse - seemed to find some sort of fascination with it. Aradia once called herself the ‘death fangirl’, Dave collected dead things, Damara desired to serve lord English(!!), and well, Caliborn is pretty self explanatory.
*At one point she does suggest to Madoka the both become witches and ruin the world, but it was in a moment where she had given up all hope. One Madoka presented her with a grief seed the idea was never brought up again.
The heart players however, are related to feelings, emotions and motivation. It’s clear that Homura’s contract was based on motivation to save her best friend. Her feelings are plain to see in the flashback episodes, where you can tell it kills her to watch a friend die. Her emotions and feelings are a main part of her character, time is just the power she possesses. Looking on the surface she seems like time player is right for her, but digging into a persons ‘soul’ shows who they are. For Homura, heart deals with the drive she feels to save Madoka.

Also, I’ve seen theories floating around on tumblr (cant find a link right now, sorry), about how for heart heroes to unlock the potential of their aspect, their heart must first be destroyed. As Dirk is the only heart player we’ve seen so far showing potential the theory works. His aspect was ‘destroyed’ in how he handled relations with Jake and Roxy.For Homura, this works with how every time she repeats, Madoka draws further away from the girl. As Madoka is her best friend, and Homura’s life is now centered around the other girl, this could in a way of speaking ‘destroy’ Homura.
But in all realty we don’t know which she would be, for she’s a fictional character from a completely different media. As much as both aspects would seem likely, I prefer hero of heart, but to each their own!
