I always kind of wondered why I have trouble understanding like. The importance and warmth of friendship, the people I know usually talk about how it makes them feel nice to hang out and be around other people but it just drains me. I know I care about these people. At least to some degree. But it's very hard to feel anything about it at all. I feel awful and guilty about it too, and I feel left out because everyone is always able to have fun. Friendship doesn't usually feel fun for me. I did research on it, it often has to do with autism, which I am diagnosed with, but I also learned aromanticism can apply to platonic relationships too, I know I am definitely aromantic. I feel like a fucking loser man "waaaaa I don't understand friendship waaaaa" ....... There are logical benefits to knowing and interacting with certain people, I know that, so I do still reach out if I can. But other than that. I just don't get it.

Are you South Asian? Curious, since Vinnith(Vinith) is a traditional indian name

Oh no I'm not. I've had it since I was 14 or so. My name used to be Vinny, but an old friend of mine told me Vinnith sounded cooler. So its stuck since then. I haven't had the heart to change it no matter how hard I've tried. I had no idea of its origins however.
