The Christmas Wars have begun. Also Happy Holidays!
This past weekend the REST House gang went to go support our awesome friend Scotty in his endeavour to conquer the dreaded Tough Mudder! let's see how he does, shall we?
Special thanks to Nick for the additional footage!

Television Writing
I’m listening to this Breaking Bad Podcast right now and it's very interesting in a writer standpoint. Vince Gilligan talks about all his ideas he had for his characters and how different they are from the show.
As Vince says in the podcast “What a collaborative Medium this is.” One of the best-written shows took an entire staff and a pitch to AMC every season. It takes Rewrite, after Rewrite. It takes people reviewing each other’s work and ideas in order to create a great piece of work.
My point is that even the greatest writers rely on others to help them realize their work to it’s fullest potential. So if you ever have a script or an Idea, the best way to make your work solid is to work with one another. If you have an Idea let people read it and let them give you criticism. Listen to them, don’t put up your defenses, take the criticism and really think about it.
I suggest listening to the last episode of this podcast, it does contain spoilers but it goes in depth into Vince’s mind and his process and his writer’s process. It has a lot of good pointers and what goes on in a writer’s room.
That’s my late night rant, please enjoy and I hope the advice helps anybody in his or her writing endeavors.

I'm not sure if we should be excited or ashamed.......
So, tonight I came home to an episode of Hollywood Huddle being recorded in the dining room. This weeks episode is discussing the entire Breaking Bad series after the finale.
This is what I love most about our production house, there's always a project cooking, even when you come home from set at midnight. Also, they can all tolerate a camera in their face at midnight. Love you guys.

In response to the "Ryan's house" post...
You know what REST house was before me?? RST house……a lonely, vowel-less void of smelly socks and crushed dreams. Without me, there was no artsy charm, no catchy nickname, and no hope for a successful future. Statistics show, visitors to REST house have a 25% higher satisfaction rate* than those who visited the former RST house. So if we’re gonna name names based on the positive impact of the environment, Evelyn’s house would be the most appropriate….just saying. *based on people bothered by acronym with no syllables and females
It’s good to be king.
THERE WOULD BE NO REST HOUSE WITHOUT ME! IM HORRIBLY OFFENDED! -Evelyn

Late night working on breakdown sheets.
We're currently debating buying a new TV for our house because the one in our living room is yellow and has a blue circle around the edges that's getting bigger every day. We call it the "piss TV" except when I say "we" I mean "me". It's the piss TV.
