Really awesome book. All about challenging the way we tell stories. Without getting too heady it's about blurring the line between fact and fiction and making stories out of what's real because we can never truly get what's real.
From the book visual sound. Thanks for sharing @psycho_jelly (at Austin, Texas)
Checking out the @satalights great psych shoe gaze band! (at Thinkery)
There is so much gold in this book. I remember loving dresden dolls back in high school but had no idea how profoundly she dives into life, connection and experience. I highly recommend this book any artist out there here's a quote: "Those who ask without fear learn to say two things, with or without words, to those they are facing:1) I Deserve to ask.2) You are welcome to say no.Because the ask that is conditional cannot be a gift."
Shout out to the homies at @soulfunktion1! Throwing down some nasty #chicagohousemusic and #hip-hop!

Be n spending a lot of time addressing limiting beliefs and getting better at setting goals. This book is chock-full of great goal setting ideas and techniques for following through. I'll be connecting with my "why" for all of my personal goals and making sure to write them down and look at them every day. Right now I'm trying to get a more consistent sleep schedule and evening routine. Also trying to get better at producing and posting awesome content. A lot of times the biggest thing holding us back is our own minds. What would this year look like if it became your best year ever? What would you accomplish? Even just sitting and spending 10 minutes visualizing it is a little scary. But it could have profound effects on pointing out your limiting beliefs and helping you get to biggest goals

Hello again and welcome the to Rhythmicity podcast. where I talk to artists of all stripes about their daily habits and rituals that keep them on beat and in the groove. on today’s show I talk to Ezra Edwards aka Girlfriend atx. They’re an awesome DJ I’ve seen around at a bunch of different parties at the volstead and Cheer up charlie’s here in austin They’re responsible for GayCL a party that goes on during ACL, Middle school dance party and more. I love the way that they always find interesting and unpretentious concepts for parties sometimes with a sly element of political protest without getting too preachy. In this episode we talk about how they start they’re day, how they prepare for sets, about the hustle of being a full time DJ, and more.
