I was up in the North Woods of Wisconsin this weekend, found myself swarmed by ticks and all I could think as they dug their barbed, razor sharp chelicerae into my skin, glued their feeding mouthparts into place, spat their anticoagulants into my body and began feasting on my rich blood meal was, "Wow, what a magnificent creature."
