You've given your best

You see the light

The life you left

Was full of strife

You stand up tall

Breathing in air

The chains of Hell

Can never hold you down

You take a step

Feeling free

You look back and see the me you used to be

You smile sweetly

Say it's okay

That you'll never forget them along the way

They helped you grow

As they always will

The ongoing cycle is happening still

You look back ahead

Smiling again

Forwards you walk

Feeling again

The numb is gone

The clouds have left

You go with confidence

In what lies ahead
