He saw it. He saw it with his own eyes. How Kronos had killed his sister. He tries to convince himself it was a dream, but there was the logical part of him that told that it wasn’t a dream. And it never will be, no matter how hard he wanted it to be. Percy sat on the outside of the cabin, the crisp air was something that helped him remember to breathe. He didn’t hear her footsteps but when her voice reached his ears, and it was his name. His head shot up quickly, forest eyes filling with tears as he a crooked smile cracked his features. In a quick second, his whole body was standing up and he wrapped his arms around the female, squeezing rather tightly.
“I never thought I’d see you again..” It was quiet and mumbled, but it was passionate nonetheless.
She hadn’t meant to startle him. Though, once she thought about it, she was sure hearing the voice of someone who you though was dead, who had died, was more than enough to startle anyone. It freaked her out just being so suddenly here again. At the hug, Hero’s own arms went around her younger brother. The tight embrace brought a sense of comfort and reality to her, she was here. She was back.
“I’m sorry, Percy. I’m so sorry.”
@celestialfate || Percy
“Hey, Perc? I think...I might need your help.”
@humcne || Percy
To say she was a bit confused would have been an understatement. She remembered dying, or at least, remembered everything going dark after she’d been stabbed. Hero could remember seeing Percy and Luke start to fight but everything after that was dark and missing. And now when she woke up, she could tell she wasn’t in Olympus. She was back in camp, or at least in the forest just outside it. After a few moments, time needed to verify where she was, Hero headed into the camp and then to the Poseidon cabin, where she spotted her brother.
“Percy?”

“Do I even want to know how you got up there?”

“What’s there to know? I climbed.”
@ghostsfate || Annabeth ♆
Hero looked from Annabeth to the hole in the wall one more time. Judging by the size of it they’d need a couple boxes. At least it was early, That meant they could very well get a good start on fixing it. Though, she would admit, if Percy had thought this was funny, she might just have to kick his ass for it. “Cool. I think a few boxes might do the trick, but we can get more if we need to.”
She chews on her lower lip before sighing, understanding that Hero most likely didn’t have any sort of undertone to her words, but somehow feeling bad anyway. “Listen, I know I’m not the ideal person to have on your side in a war. I’m a shallow, hopeless, romantically obsessed, self-absorbed oniomaniac. But, thank you for putting up with me and my needs, anyway.” on some level, Eris has always felt that being a daughter of Aphrodite didn’t really mean much, but she daren’t voice such a thought, when her mother could be listening.
She looked at the other female for a moment, setting her glass on the table. Despite her cold nature, something she’d simply crafted over the years in regards to her feelings for her father, Hero did genuinely care for most of her allies, (where there a few that she wouldn’t mind never seeing again, sure, but that wasn’t the case). “Listen, Eris, no one is the ideal person to have in a war. We each have little things that can make our part in it fall apart completely, it’s all about handling those parts of us in the proper way. I’ll give you credit for coming and asking to deal with that, even if it’s something I don’t get. It’s better than ignoring it and having a complete meltdown in the most inopportune time,”
After hearing his name Percy turned around. His eyes widened as he saw his sister. He quickly ran over and tackled her in a hug. “Oh thank the gods”He said loudly.
The hug caught her off guard, but Hero took a deep breath and returned it gently. The fear that was in her stomach began to fade, Percy was alright. He was in front of her. He survived the war. That was all she could ask for. After a few moments, she looked him over, older sister instincts going into overdrive. “Are you alright, did you get hurt?” He looked fine, hell she didn’t even know how long she’d been dead in the first place.
Truth be told, Eris can’t swim that well, and has never felt comfortable near or on the water. Maybe it’s that her mother is Aphrodite, but she feels most comfortable on land — specifically, near a mall, but there’s no mall on the ship. “You could? That’d be wonderful!” she’s perked right up now, at the prospect of being able to do her thing, a.k.a shopping until she runs finally out of money, and then charmspeaking store attendants into giving her free items…hey, nobody ever said Eris has a perfect moral compass.
“Don’t see why not.” Hero shrugged, “If I am going to land anyway, might as well let you go do your thing.” Besides, it would make to where everyone remained calm and stable. She understood the need to do something other than what their mission entailed. Getting out and being the young adults that they were, she still attempted to get Luke do go and do a few things. Just for the sake of everyone’s sanity.
Eris frowned, wringing her hands together. “Well, no, it’s not any better to deal with the gods. But I’d like to be able to do what Aphrodite children are meant to do, and I can’t do that in the middle of the ocean, can I?” the blonde knows she should have kept her mouth shut, since the walls have ears around here, but there’s any so much that she can keep to herself. “Monsters are fine, I suppose, but they’re everywhere on this damn boat. It’s a bit…well, discomforting, really.” her face is starting to go red, and she wishes she could just sink through the floor and never have to remember this discussion for as long as she lived.
But, of course, Eris isn’t that fortunate.
Dark brows perked over green eyes, and for a moment Hero had to fight with herself not to smirk just a bit. She, of course, had no issues with being out in the middle of the ocean. She was at home there, and the monsters had become easy for her to ignore. Far easier than the other demi-gods they’d brought to join their cause. “I suppose that i could take you to the main land the next time I go out, let you do your thing.”
“Well, as long as we’re being honest with each other…I don’t think I want to be here anymore,” she lets her head drop into her hands for a brief moment, taking a few deep breaths before looking back up. “It’s not that my loyalty has changed, it’s just…well, every day it’s the same thing! Check out recruits, be surrounded by monsters, step on eggshells to keep Luke and Lord Kronos satisfied, and I’m just sick of not having a life, you know?”
The outburst was more than enough to cause Hero to look to Eris with a look of confusion mixed with surprise. Of course her loyalty hadn’t changed, saying anything otherwise would be a sure shot to ending up dead. “Is it any better to be dealing with skulking around because of the gods?” In truth, always watching out for the recruits was a chore that Hero hated with a passion. It reminded her of camp, and that was something she’d rather have far away from her thoughts. “Well, there’s always going out. Having a bit of a life. You would just have to be fine with dealing with monsters either way.”
“You say that like we’re expecting sane ones, Hero,” Eris sighs, dragging a hand through her hair. It’s been a long day, and honestly, her patience is wearing thin. “If they’re that much of a problem, go talk to Luke about it — he seems to have all the answers.” it’s one of those days where she really doesn’t want to be on the Princess Andromeda, but just won’t say anything.
“Semi sane would be nice.” The glass in her hands went to sit on the table, a cool look on her features as her eyes move from it to the other female in a swift and smooth movement. “I would go and talk to him about the state of the idiots that seem to be running amok, if he were here. I need to voice it, or I will end up drowning one of them and Lord Kronos will not be pleased.”

She’d been dead. She knew that. For how long, she really didn’t know. But as soon as she was out of the Underworld, with a tiny explination from Hades, Hero went to Camp. She needed to make sure that Percy and Annabeth were alright. Hades had assured her that they were...well as much as a demigod could be, but they were living. It was late when she got to camp, not many moved around, so it was a clear shot to Cabin 3.
“Percy?”

“I feel as though the last few recruits have been...a few cards short of a full deck.” And by that she means she almost drowned one when they pissed her off that morning.

Hey Lovelies!
So I started my new job today, and let me tell ya. They don’t play around. I was told that I was just going in for paperwork and training for a couple hours, and it turned into a full shift, with me working 6 am - 2 pm for the next two days and then 8 am - 3 pm on Monday. With that going on, my activity will drop a good deal, but I am still around. I don’t plan on dropping anything that I have going, I just ask that you be patient with me while I get used to working again.
Much love,
Kritter.
