In 2019 I went to see It Chapter 2 with a friend from grad school, and to this day it blows my mind that she went in, saw that movie, walked out, and then just kind of… moved on with her life? And now, two years later, she’s just… living her life? Without that fucking movie still taking up at least a quarter of her mind at any given moment?? 

Sometimes I look at her to this day and I’m just like… how?? Were we even watching the same goddamn movie in there???

Anyway, I like to think there’s an alternate universe out there where she’s the one who completely lost her soul over that movie and I have my brain capacity freed up for other things.
