The contrast between Louis remembrance of Claudia and Claudia’s remembrance of Louis is insane
Louis remembers her as the daughter he tragically lost, grieving her in the rare moments in when she was actually happy.
On the other hand Claudia remembers Louis as the man who dragged her out of her burning house— not out of kindness to save somebody, but to create a family experience with his spouse. They saved Claudia for their own selfish needs.
She remembers him as the want to be father figure who literally prioritized TWO men over her (one being a complete stranger for a while,) and the person who’s responsible for staying in a child form for as long as she lived.
ALSO the thing with Louis is that no matter how old she actually was, he still saw her a child when she wasn’t.
