The shaman of Bad Dürrenberg are the remains of a 25-35 year old woman, who was burried 8600 to 9000 year ago in Germany. Around her, were the remains of an extraordinary head-dress, made from the bones and teeth of different animals such as deer, wild boar, crane and turtle

The Shadow, by Michael Kaluta
Mike Kaluta’s The Shadow is Classic!
Springtime in Kansas by Tim Sale, with Colors by Bjarne Hansen, Letters by Richard Starkings, and a Script by Jeph Loeb.
A great looking graphic novel that’s also a great read.
It’s rather nice to see an Alex Ross painting, and say to myself, “That’s amazing!” He’s been been impressing for decades.
Fin Fang Foom and Iron Man, by Mike Mignola
Awesomeness from Mignola.
Conan The Barbarian - “The Song of Red Sonja” Art by Barry Windsor-Smith
This cover is impressive each time I look at it.
Conan the Barbarian, 1970-1971
Marvel, 1970 Series
Barry Windsor Smith (as Barry Smith) pencils & inks except:
John Verpoorten inks, #1; Sal Buscema inks #8
These comics were the beginnings of a life long love for the artist Barry Windsor Smith. The art was interesting from the beginning and became mesmerizing by issue 19, and mind boggling by the finale issue 24. Then BWS blew us all away with Red Nails in Savage Tales 2 and 3. It was the most amazing developement of a comicbook artist that I’d ever seen. Watching that development was a highlight of my comicbook fandom.
Dune by Chezka Sunit
I found this floating around the Internet. It’s a great photograph of two of my All Time Favorites. I believe this is poolside at the El Cortez Hotel taken in the late 1970s during the San Diego Con.
Justice League #58 variant cover - Wonder Woman by Jim Lee, inks by Scott Williams, colours by Alex Sinclair *
Jim, Scott, and Alex after all of these years together are still at the top of their game!!! Respect.
The GREAT Dave Stevens. He was an incredible talent. Few people have used the brush with his grace and beauty. I’m thinking Frazetta, Schultz, Williamson, Raymond, and Stevens.
Space Ghost by Aaron Lopresti
Aaron Lopresti does Classic Space Ghost. Very impressive.
