no day 2 i got food poisoning

DAY ONE

immediately zero'd in on learning how to use the terrain tool. mostly just throwing in random things cuz it'll get me familiar with all the buttons and knobs. already tried doing a lot of things i couldnt get to work so i stopped myself before i got bored and frustrated

there's no way in hell i can do what that guy did where he made a game in seven days cuz he already had gamedev experience BUT, i can take his advice to heart of at least trying to put in a little time daily to learn ONE thing. be it one small feature or not. id like to spend the rest of my free time this year just getting a hang of studio! my first little random project that i want to commit to when i have the time is a simple chill game where you can talk to my oc leo. be able to walk up to him, interact with him, and choose multiple dialogue options. maybe even throw something at him. that's it. i'm going to spend today fooling round in studio's tutorials
