Acoustic Show at The Bitter End!

This Wednesday night I'll be reprising my role as one half of the duo, Zak Sandler & Rob Savitsky, for a special stripped down performance at The Bitter End.

Expect to hear a mix of Born Again Virgins songs with some different arrangements and perhaps a new cover song or two ;)

"Single For So Long"

I’m really pumped up to share a new tune that I wrote and played guitars on, called “Single For So Long”. You may recognize it from some shows with my band, The Born Again Virgins. Finally, the studio recording has arrived!

I’ve gotta give a big shoutout to Mike Okusami (from the band, Who Needs A Pulse), who played various instruments, engineered and co-produced the track, Willie Morrison, for laying down some insane vocals, and my bandmate Zak Sandler, for his synth arrangements and A&R feedback.

"The City" is the first track off my album A Songwriters Reel (2008). Written during the drive back to Washington DC after my first stint in New York City (Greenwhich Village/ Manhattan), the song features Mechanistics frontman, Sam Taylor, on lead vocals.
