New embroidered cufflinks, Ive sold a pair already, and I'm pretty happy with how they have turned out. Hoping to get a few more projects done this year too.

Latest work in progress, a volvo! Not sure about the gold thread backing as I think it's too distracting, so might end up unpicking it all. What do you think? Stay or go? Also apols for the poor image quality, my phone camera isnt up to much without natural light.
Tyne Bridge
Finished this one a few weeks ago, but have only just got round to updating. I am particularly happy with the Tuxedo Royale/Princess (I am not actually certain which one it is) and I like the silvery tones in the river, as I think it makes it look like its moving, catching the light.
As ever, it is available on my etsy if you want it in your life ;)
Tyneside (almost finished)
Wells, Bishops Palace
Running and sewing curtains ( not at the same time) have taken over my life. Should be taking a little break from both after this weekend and will then hopefully have some updates for you. :)
Sharing my flat with this beaut this afternoon
I've been quiet for a little while, absorbed by work and running. Broke my running distance record couple of weeks ago with an 8.5 mile run including defeating one of the steeper hills in bristol, so i haven't had so much time for creative things. My only news is that i sold the Everard Building hoop via etsy a week or so ago. This hoop was the last of my Bristol miniatures and has now made its way, all the way, to Australia :)
Finally finished off my Park street and Corn street embroideries and they have made it onto my etsy. Also available on there is an older embroidery of old market,Bristol which ive meant to list for a while.

February projects! I know i am supposed to finishing a project a month, but this month that didn't quite go to plan as i ended up starting a second project. Both are very nearly finished so i am not going to tell myself off too much for breaking my rule. Just have to make sure i don't start too many new projects in March!
More progress on Corn Street.
Just got back from a mini holiday in Wells. Pretty darn grumpy to be back, just had days of good food, countryside and running. When i wasn't running, eating or exploring i started work on this embroidery of Corn Street Bristol. So far the only colour is the blue sky, not sure whether to add a bit more or just to stick to the black and white.
Bit more progress on this one. I've only got two evenings left to finish it now eeek
Had a bit of a hectic weekend, hectic but a great one, so being back at work this morning was a bit of a surprise. Fortunately this beauty arrived to brighten my Monday blues. Efnisien is my favourite character and give me a chance and ill recount the whole thing. Also paid extra cos i liked the cover - sign of a book lover.
First night of stitching - doesn't look like much at the moment i know, but i am hoping it Will come together more as the detail is added. Stitching up this one for a special occasion, so naturally I've given myself a week to get it finished. Eeek
Here's this weeks park street embroidery progress. Its getting there!
