Some Rosen terms

himira stone: A five pointed star or rather stone. It was busted into 5 pieces and implanted within the five court queens. Earth, Fire, Light, Darkness, and Wind. There is no water and if there had been it was destroyed due to it being exclusively used by the oracles of Arri. Luzil: A deformed creature that oozes ichor out of its pores. Created by the queen of the Black Court Cyprus since none live or stay alive long enough to fight for her. They like to come in packs.

The Ancients part of the family tree before the five sisters. It ends with their parents Serenity and Kyoto.

Said I was going to eventually make the Rosenite eye better :P here's my latest take at it!

Simplified Version of What a Rosenite is

Rosenites were born of experimentation on plant matter. Given the life force of vampires and the magic from the witches that performed the ceremony, their bodies are made up of plant matter and infused with a variety of magic. While their main source of food is sunlight, they can also feed like vampires. They are stronger than their vampire companions--a younger Rosenite can match an older vampire though most Rosenites fall to their selfishness and pride. Their skin is thicker than a normal vampire and the skin clots into buds.

The Rose Courts and Their Meanings

The Yellow Court Truth and Relationships: Those who are always candid or take great care of their relationships with others. The Black Court Misfortune: Those born into it or those who cause it. Oracles Reserved for infants who died and will be resurrected when an oracle comes. They have the ability to read fate strings and see visions of the past and future. However, they are restricted from seeing their own future or the future of those who they have relations with. The Purple Court Self Sacrifice: Those destined to make a great sacrifice of themselves. The Red Court Passion: Those with a great passion for or about anything. The White Court Purity or Wild Fire: Those who are pure or have an unbridled wildness which cannot be tamed.

Casimir- Giant Sink hole where many executions have taken place.

The Song Gate was created by Cathrine the First.. Its a magical barrier that prevents people that have ill will against the Rosenites from coming in. The only way to enter is to be a. Rosenite or b. Guided by a Rosenite so she/he can open the gate for you. The gate as its name suggests is opened by the Rosenites singing voice.

Special Blood Properties

Their blood has special properties in them from being a creation.

It can dissolve any poison.

If their blood is in a human without the essence it becomes a poison and kill them.

their blood contains special pigments that color their essence to that of their rose colors. -- Essence is a mist that can be brought out of their muscles it can be used to seduce, turn, or to heal other Rosenites with the same rose color.

Rosenite Abilities

Plant Spawn - An ability brought on by their bodies being composed of 75% of their bodies. They can grow herbs and other plants out of their bodies.. Their muscle mass is completely made up of plants..

Essence Drink- Unlike vampires, Rosenites don't drink blood. They drink Essence which is derived of Mana.

Element Powers- Each Rosenite has a element that they love to use.. That element is also the most powerful element in their arsenal.

Nightsight- Like vampires they can see in the dark.

Longevity- While no one knows exactly when they die its been showed through Willow that they have long life spans.

Skin Regrowth - Their skin doesn't scab -- It grows flowers (The flesh eating flowers used to make them) and when the flowers open they blend into the skin like it was never there. This leads to lesser scars.

Angela Rose- She is the second daughter born to Serenity and Kyoto Rose. Angela is known for her healing arts. When she was a girl she gave her father just as many problems as Cathrine had.. After she had graduated the Healer's Academy as a prodigy she entered the army at fourteen. She was as skillful with a sword as she was herbs and healing magic. One day while they were patrolling the desert a strong scent of burning flesh hit her nose. She began to run away from her group.. They followed their princess to a village.. Setting their own children on fire as sacrifices to the gods. Rosenites are disgusted by as act that hurts children. After all.. All children are gifts in the eyes of Rosenites. Angela and her team got the surviving children out of the village. Angela stayed behind to deliver judgment.. A decision she regretted for the rest of her life. She destroyed the entire town using earth magic though she couldn't tell you how she did it.. She had lost her temper with the elder of the village.. What was left of the village was a sink hole after Angela left. After that Angela quit the army and decided never to take another person's life.. Until-- Her father killed her mother and sister. Angela began to poison his food.. she knew she could never take him with a sword.. As Kyoto laid in bed he made Angela tend to him.. She continued to administer the poison.. Willow stopped her in the hall.. She was powerless to stop her own family's demise but she stared at the young Angela after Kyoto had finally died.. and Angela told her this, "Take our mistakes and turn them into a golden future for our people. Let no more hurt like this, the genocide, or your daughters ever happen again.. Let my sisters flourish." After that Angela took a horse and left Arri. She was punishing herself for breaking her promise.

Cathrine (The Second) Rose- She is the first born daughter to Kyoto and Serenity Rose. Cathrine was good with swords and so she served in the army almost as soon as she could. Begging and pleading finally her father gave in and let her join when she was just eleven years old. Cathrine is a master at archery and is one with wind magic. When she was eighteen years old she heard her mother and father arguing over her youngest sister (Though no one had even known Toya had been born).. Cathrine thought it was about Cyprus. When the fight reached outside and Cathrine knew her mother was in great danger she jumped out of the tower that their mother had put all five of them in for protection. She fought with her father until he had met his sword to her neck. Many said she inherited her trait for sacrifice from her grandmother Cathrine. Years went by after the burial of Cathrine and her mother.. Her father's body parts were split up and buried in multiple places so that no one could ever think about bringing him back to life.. One day Willow was in her study when she thought of that very spell.. She had one chance at it and she began to descend her staircases into the graveyard. She ordered her granddaughter she unburied and they began to bring her back to life. When Cathrine took her first breaths into the world once more.. She noticed she had angel wings. No one was really sure how she got them.. They grew from her back as they had performed the spell.. Many thought it was a gift from the gods. Cathrine and her sisters all have the Rosenite eyes.

Serenity Rose wasn't a born Rosenite but a made one. She was made by the man who would become her husband.. She never did remember her life but it was thought she came from the survivors from Celeste. When she was turned she retained her blue eyes.. She had always objected Kyoto killing his aunt but she dropped it after their first daughter was born. Serenity went into early labor when delivering Angela because of the Genocide. Angela was blessed by the healers and later Serenity begged her daughter to go into the healer's academy. When Kyoto had cut out Cyprus's heart Serenity yelled and almost tried to commit suicide telling Kyoto she would no long bare him any more children. However, she bore him two more.. Lily and Latoya. She would never see Latoya's first birthday.. Three months after Toya's birth Kyoto shoved a dagger into his wife.

Kyoto Rose- Up until his daughters had sons he was the only male Rosenite ever born into the Rosenite family. He was in his fifties when he came across a girl who couldn't been been older than twenty in the desert.. He took care of her and even turned her into a Rosenite.. When she couldn't remember her name he named her Serenity and took her as his wife. Just after he had married Serenity he realized he couldn't live a peaceful life with her as long as Kira Rose ruled the Desert Rosenites. He waged a civil war with his aunt killing all that opposed him and ultimately killed Kira herself. Before Kira died she cursed Kyoto telling him someday he would do something that would send him to hell. He didn't believe her and finished her off. Two hundred years after that day Serenity gave him his first daughter whom he named after his mother Cathrine. When Serenity was pregnant with their second child the genocide started.. He lost all of his previous family besides Willow.. Who the people didn't want to lose. Willow had been placed under a spell to keep her unconscious.. Kyoto began to lose his mind after his third daughter Cyprus.. A demon possessed his soul, The curse of Kira Rose, and he cut his third daughter's heart out.. Cyprus lived by the Essence that made the Rosenites. However, It left her cruel. He would later murder his wife and his oldest child before being killed by his second daughter Angela. In all him and Serenity had five daughters.

Cathrine (The First) Rose - The only child to Lilla Rose and the only Rosenite Royal family member before the five sisters to have a son. The son was her only child. She wore when he was born she would die for him.. When the genocide of the Rosenites came to their doorstep Cathrine kept her promise she hide Kyoto and his pregnant wife inside the castle and ran to face them off. She put all the magic she had into the Earth.. Ending the Genocide driving back the forces into the desert and ultimately making the Song Gate. When her body fell from mana exhaustion it was absorbed into the ground.. Using the late of her mana she created what is known as the Mesmia Tree to protect the future Rosenites of Arri's Oasis. Mesmia trees are the only trees that grow within the city walls as a tribute to their once great queen.

Lilla Rose - The only child to Dragonlily. She took over her mother's position for running the Oasis Rosenites. Willow was always closely behind watching. Every since the separation of Desert and Oasis Rosenites it had always been thought to be a safe route not to have more than one. Since daughters were very common.. This practice was uphold to make sure no fights broke out like Dragonlily and Kira. Her father is unknown like most Rosenites. Rosenites usually only mate with vampires and humans than return to the oasis or desert.

Antheia Rose is the only known child of Kira Rose. She was taken away and saved when Kyoto Rose attacked his aunt during another civil war. It was said that the only reason Kyoto spared his niece was because she was only six and looked blind. This was way before the births of Kyoto's five daughters. Antheia is about two hundred years older than Kyoto's daughters and is mastering the katana as a weapon. She bares the Oasis Rosenites no ill feelings. She understood her mother was a monster.
