FireAlpaca is now COMPLETELY a Paint Tool SAI alternative!
BITMAP WATERCOLOR BRUSHES, YâALL!!! Want to make some SAI brushes in FireAlpaca? Check out THIS handy Guide!
Want to make this brush? Just make a perfect circle and save it (I call mine âroundâ) and use it as the bitmap, and copy the settings above. It works pretty nicely :D
aHHHH HOLY SHIT WHEN DID THIS POST START TRENDING?!
UM, WHILE IâM HERE:
Here is where you can download FireAlpaca (it is completely free software)
*If English is not your native language, you can download it in other languages.
Please download from the official FireAlpaca websites, because a friend of mine simply googled FireAlpaca and downloaded from some random site, and she got malware! So PLEASE be careful.
FireAlpaca has a suggestion/bug reporting box on their site so you can request features, or let them know if youâre having any issues! Also FireAlpaca works fantastically on Mac computers! (though I will say the only time FA has crashed on me is when I used a Mac, so PLEASE save your work often)
Also, please visit these tumblrs if you do get into using FireAlpaca:

its kinda scary how your whole life depends on how well you do as a teenagerÂ
oh my god No it doesnât donât put this kind of pressure on people?? you can absolutely fuck up in your teen years and continue on to a good life just fine. you can drop out of school, get a GED, still go to college and finish your degree as late as you want. i know people in my school who still havenât graduated and theyâre 26. some older. you can always transfer someplace else, always build yourself up from the ground. after a certain amount of college credits, a lot of schools really donât care about your high school GED or your SAT scores anymore. if you fuck up in your teenage years you are not a failure!! you can ALWAYS re-invent yourself, always start over. there is always a second chance.
Reblogging this for my followers freaking out over art school/college. I dropped out of high school and never thought Iâd get into college as easily as I did. You will be fine!
Fun story my biology professor just told us: Â When he was 23 he was married to his wife and worked two jobs to support them since she was in college: gas station attendant and construction worker. Â He worked these two jobs because that was the only work he could get since he was at the reading level of a third grader. Â
One night he was writing something and his wife noticed he was writing from right to left. Â Since she was studying occupational therapy she realized he had a learning disability and started working with him. Â He slowly began to learn to read, and at 26 got his GED and went to college.
His first year of college he took the lowest level math course he could take, 001. Â Over the years he worked on learning what he needed to, ended up graduating with a biology degree. Â He then went on to get his masters and PhD, graduating at the top of his class. Â He is now an extremely accomplished biologist and professor.
So donât let anyone tell you that youâre future is based on your choices as a teenager.
Seriously. Â Do not believe this. Â You arenât even stuck with your choices you make in your 20s. Â I didnât start working in my current field until just after my 30th birthday. Â It has nothing to do with what I went to school for in my 20s. Â My husband has a political science degree, and heâs a sports journalist.
You are not tied to anything. Â Go. Â Be.
My day job did not exist when I was a teenager. And the idea of trying to be an author was a distant thing on my radar. I thought I was going to be an English teacher. And then I thought I was going to be a music teacher. And then I thought I was going to be a drama teacher.
Also in there: therapist, early childhood educator, then finally: web developerâbecause by then it was an actual thing that existed. I didnât actually figure out what IÂ âwanted to do when I grew upâ until about eight years ago, when I was 36. I tried pursuing writing when I was 30, stopped, then started pursuing it seriously again when I was 40.Â
There is always time to change. And donât let anyone tell you that high school is âthe best time of your lifeâ either, because thatâs bullshit too.
Fell Priestess gonna gechu.
What happens when you canât save a soul?
In Melting Moon, characters you meet and befriend can become infected with an affliction known as âSoul Rotâ.  Your actions or decisions may save them, but if you canât, you will see them in Hell in their cursed form. Â
a quiet time
Today marks the day of Hello Charlotteâs official release!
EP2 is now available for purchase on Steam. It comes in both English and Russian versions. Hopefully it will all work without problems!
Progress!
Itâs nothing big tbh I just like to spamm you guys ;^)))
I made the house smaller so it wouldnât seem like Costaâs a dwarf (tho thatâd be so cool) and extended the roof. Also added some basic colors, shading will follow! (looks like a church so far ahhhh)
((the regular villagerâs houses wonât be as pretty, sorry npcâs! :^/))
âGreenâs Dreamâ
Mapping Process Pics
Here are some mapping process pics for my vidjagaem, âGreenâs Dream!â
Quick doodle of a couple NPCs: Mariana (who youâve seen a short glimpse of before) and another NPC who may or may not make the final cut.
Wow sorry for the almost radio silence everyone, itâs been a long semester at school here. Development is still moving along pretty sluggishly at the moment but here are some concepts to hold things up until I can get more substantial updates around! Two individuals of whom you may or may not become acquainted with!
Hmm⌠what happened here?
Today was oddly unproductive on a certain way, while I finished some other work and then dicked around searching for music, but I managed to settle on a sketch for the loading screen :p
Another minigame is under wayâŚ! There are like, 3 more after this, but I donât expect any of them to be very hard to code.
Check out the awesome placeholder art in the meantime.
A short dark adventure
All of a sudden, HIDDEN is published!
This game has been sitting in a folder collecting dust since last yearâs Asylum Jam, but finally this week I took the time to finish it. Itâs short and very minimalist regarding resources, but I hope youâll still be able to play and enjoy it :3Â
Iâve officially TRANSFORMED from âkipicondevlogâ to âJongleurGame!â DONâT BE SCARE AND CONFUSE FRANDS!
âJongleurâ a vidjagaem by vinny
In âJongleur,â a weary clown gets the chance to see exactly how the world has changed 101 years after completing their heroic quest.
Made in RPG Maker utilizing assets stretched, skewed, and warped beyond their breaking points, âJongleurâ is a game chock full of LONGING and EYE STRAIN.
Stray too far from town and youâll enter the Open Desert. Itâs a lot like the Lost Woods from Legend of Zelda*, a maze of dusty, worn-out trails left over from a more prosperous era. Nobody in town remembers the way out there anymore⌠or do they? Follow the right paths and you may find some secrets.
*Itâs exactly like the Lost Woods from Legend of Zelda.
In other news, Iâve decided to shrink the Prairie maps some. You may remember from the hunting update that the areas shown were very, very large and fairly empty. This was due to the âif fleeing animals reach the edge of the map theyâll despawnâ mechanic, which necessitated large maps to give the player space to chase their prey. However, after a bit of playtesting, I have deemed that mechanic⌠annoying. This is good, because the prairie maps were definitely the weakest ones in the game⌠a fact that has become increasingly apparent as house interiors are finished (they look awesome so far, btw).Â
