There are a lot of people here, though, you’re right. It must be stressful for anyone who’s never been on tour before. Kinda seems like being thrown right into a pack of wolves.”

“mm, that’s true. you’re lucky to not be nervous - i’m okay once i get up there, but the five minutes beforehand i can still find not fun. and i know, right? i feel bad for dynasty and majesty, debuting in the midst of this. ginny’s already performed in unity for a year, and she’s amazing, but i’m still nervous for her.”

It’s not exactly my favorite place to be. You might have an issue getting me, Kisu, and Seth out of it, but maybe it’d just be easier to talk to Shinwoo about that.”

“great - just the answer i was hoping for,” tomi replied, a little surprised, but pleased. “i’m really only mentioning it to not come off as a total asshole if you rock up at your room and it’s like nope, sorry, scrunchie on the door handle. like, at least i gave a blanket disclaimer.” she titled her head to the side, frowning slightly at his words, before a memory surfaced in her brain. “yeah, i remember donny mentioned something a while back about you being weird with him, and especially around andy. hope you guys are okay.” satomi grinned at the mention of the other members, replying, “in that case, yerin and i are hoe sisters in arms, so i’m sure she’d come collect kisu if i asked, and i’d figure the rest out. but realistically, if you guys are all hanging out together, i wouldn’t ever interrupt. i’m not that type of girlfriend.”

tomi chuckled. “that’s true. companies like kbs do tend to take the ‘once you’ve got a successful horse, keep kicking it till it dies’ strategy. in a few years, we might be begging them to let die it.”

“that’s fair, i guess. i bet its a little weird for you guys, though, because like…people play into the rivalry so hard sometimes, and you guys are stuck in the middle.”

“we’re straddling enemy lines, you could say,” tomi suggested with a laugh. “the rivalry between companies was never a big deal to me anyway, though, and after being on idol project and in unity with people from all three, it really doesn’t factor into anything for me at this point.”

“I don’t really see myself as much of a soloist, if I’m being honest. I’m just a producer who makes music in my free time once every year, but when I was in a group, I know I would’ve felt the same way. You guys are doing well, though, so I doubt they’ll try to make you do stuff by yourself right now.”

“really? huh. i guess that’s one way to think about. shouldn’t that make you more nervous, though, if you see yourself more as a producer? and, i mean, i’m not opposed to performing solo at all - i had a solo track on idol project, and it was great. i really loved performing that. but the crowds here are huge, and often not there specifically to see you. the idea of facing that kind of crowd alone right now is what grosses me out.”

“Is it nerve wracking to be a soloist on a tour like this? You have to perform in front of huge crowds on your own, in a place you don’t know. I’d be so much more nervous if I didn’t have the girls with me up there.”

“I hadn’t thought about it like that - I had it the other way round. Like, Unity is a super-unit of Frontier, Sola, and Majesty’s Ginny. If I think about it like that, then once we stop promoting actively on this tour, Unity’s still not disbanded, it’s just...resting.”
