When White Zirconia came to Earth to abduct humans for the Diamonds, each human was checked for any items of interest (jewellry, weapons, etc). One of the humans was carrying a piece of rock candy, which White Zirconia and the Gems with him believed to be a piece of edible propaganda against Gemkind (in a similar vein, jewellry is considered wearable anti-gem propaganda). Upon returning to Homeworld, Gem scientists began to investigate the rock candy, and even tested to see if it could turn into a Gem. Lo and behold, it could…

And that’s where Rock Candy comes from :’D she’s one of a kind, kinda useless, but white zirconia keeps her around as a trophy of sorts. Personality-wise, she’s lazy and likes to get other people to do things for her.

Rose Quartz!

She is a specialized quartz gem who helps to ease and console other gems, especially those who have fought in battle. She is also good at counseling and giving advice to help the others.

An unsteady court is not a good court. Making sure the mentality of those within one’s own caste system and court are in top condition is a high priority. Even gems high in the system including the highest, Diamonds, come to her or call for her to ease their woes and help them to rest easier (gems do not have a need for sleep so it’s not that kind of rest)

He is apart of a small top of the line serpentine group that Ido invested his own time and knowledge into B^) since he loves shortcuts, he made Z5 and his group to go on and continue to improve serpentines to be the most advanced mass produced gem so that he wouldn’t have to :’^) Ido occasionally has Z5 do minuscule chores as well,, not as bad as Green Pearl’s though
