“I can understand that. This place does have its…charms.” He’s still trying to figure out how to summarize how he feels about the island. The time spent has been an odd push and pull of emotions and experiences to say the least. Still, he somehow finds himself settling into the unpredictable nature of his life there so far and of course, he loves being surrounded by the ocean most of all. “They’re alright, you know. The usual. Everyone’s busy doing something or other so it’s kind of hard these days to get everybody in one place.” He sighs and turns, stuffing his hands in his pockets and shrugging. “It’d be cool if they could all visit but, I’m definitely not betting on it.” Even though the thought makes him sad, he smiles anyway because that’s just what he does. “Makes me all the more excited for you though!”

“I like to think it has the climate of Los Angeles with the charm of a small New England” Sage said. “Like some sort of weird love child of Gilmore Girls and 90210″ they added with a small chuckle. Sage loved books, of course, but the blonde would admit they probably watched too much TV as well. Then they nodded. “I know how that goes. It sucks when being an adult takes over everyone getting to spend time with each other.” Sage was having the same problem with their own siblings. Which sucked because they really wanted their siblings to meet Evie. “But thanks for your enthusiasm. Let’s keep our fingers crossed we both get to see our families soon.” Sage had no real desire to see their parents right now, thanks to still be angry at the both of them. But that didn’t mean they didn’t want to see their brother and sister.
