Special message from my friend Jackie about Jared's birthday!

I want to do something for Jared’s birthday. I want to do a video journal to post on Jared’s facebook and then tweet it to his twitter. I feel he’s more likely to see it on Facebook though. Basically record a video of yourself wishing him a happy birthday and if you’d like to thank him for AKF. keep any AKF thank yous short and sweet (No specific stories please. Those how you relate stories and how he helped can be saved for something specifically AKF related. This is a birthday video. So a short thank you is fine.) If you don’t want to record yourself you can make a sign that with your birthday wish (Make sure it is readable on a video) and I will use that in the video. DETAILS:

-verse title taken from the episode It’s A Terrible Life. Where Sam and Dean end up with normal jobs and are not brothers. But friends. Their names are Dean Smith and Sam Wesson in the episode. -The verse is loosely based on It’s a Terrible Life, The French Mistake and various other episodes where an angel or some being put them into an alternate reality or parallel universe of themselves. -Cross overs do not need to have knowledge of the series. If you haven’t seen the show all you need to know are the basics. Sam and Dean are hunters of the supernatural etc. Then you’ll be good. The verse summary is pretty self explanatory. -Duplicate FCs are welcomed in this kind of verse. Simply because there’s specially multiples of the same characters. However since the verse is wonderfully confusing already. (yes that’s the fun of it) you may change up FCs on angel and demon alt versions. Since they have to possess a vessel/meatsuit to walk on earth. You don’t have to do this. But it could be fun having an alt vessel for Castiel etc. It’s all up to you. -There will be an ooc blog to discuss things in if you’d like to. Otherwise all plotting can be done through tumblr IM or skype if each partner is willing to do so. -please use track the tag: it’s a terrible life verse -You may add your own tags to the official tag. Such as V; terrible life etc.

So I just realized it’s totally canon that Sam has been married twice. Legally and all. Granted one was a love spell but it was legal hence why they had to get it annulled. And the other one was in fact Sam Winchester married legally to Genevieve Padalecki because Sam Winchester was Jared Padalecki in an alternate universe. So hey one of the brothers did get to be married. Of course I am sure that’s not what Sam really meant back when he was in his college days and wanting to marry Jess and have kids with her.

Reblog if you're part of the "Castiel deserves a better life" squad

Rule 63: a rule of the internet that reads as follows: "For any given male character, there is a female version of that character." This rule's exceptions are only in the instance that A: the male character is already so androgynous that a female version would be basically the same, or B: the female version hasn't been drawn yet.

Basically fans “gender swapping” if you will their favorite characters. This definition was taken from Urban dictionary. Role-players have taken up this term over gender swapping to describe verses where their character is the opposite gender of their canon gender. Yes I have a rule 63! Verse of Sam. Who becomes Samantha Winchester and uses the faceclaim of Bethany Joy Lenz who played Haley on One Tree Hill. Some rule63! Sams use Sophia Bush. Who was also on One Tree Hill and is also a great choice. I just used Bethany Joy because I wanted to be different and not use a popular face for her. So with that said feel free to read my verses under female Sam and pick one as I am willing to play her a little tonight. As my muse for canon Sam comes back out.

First fans theorize Chuck IS GOD based off Swan Song the season finale of five. It was heavily implied and the fans went wild with it. For years they replaced phrases that had God in it with Chuck. Oh my Chuck etc. as a running gag. Kripke I believe at one point even said Chuck was meant to be God. I could be wrong on him though. But other writers have stated it when asked. Rob himself let it slip at a Con. And though it never was confirmed OFFICIALLY in CANON it was a running gag in the fandom. The biggest theory that the writers enjoyed. And the fans enjoyed. It made a ton of sense to so many people.

And now that it's been officially clarified in Canon that he IS GOD. That the biggest Fan theory in the history of Supernatural has become true you all are bitching. There's a slew of fans pissed off it became true canon now. Fans screaming it was fan service like whiny bitches. Fan Service? Fan service my ass! The signs were all there. The fans didn't come up with this particular theory out of their asses. This was the ONE fan theory I could get behind. The ONE that made sense. The show with all the writers and Rob's joking aside at Cons. Putting all those unofficial "confirmations" aside. The writers in the context of the actual show actually hinted at it. Robbie Thompson took actual canon and used it in a grand reveal. It wasn't fan service.

Think about it here. One of Chuck's first lines to Dean and Sam is I'm a cruel God. When Kevin was revealed as a Prophet Castiel states that a new prophet can only become a prophet if one dies. So Castiel assumed Chuck was dead believing him to be an actual prophet, but Sam and Dean discover Chuck is alive still at a Supernatural Con. It was said that God was hiding on Earth. Chuck was hiding behind a Pen name of Carver Edlund. Chuck had visions of Sam and Dean's futures when writing the books. It specifically touched on their fates. God is a being that knows and see's all. Also Castiel was resurrected twice in the presence of Chuck.

Here is what a friend said to me yesterday about it being obvious: Chuck being God has even been alluded to the FIRST TIME we met Metatron. Chuck = Kripke = The Writer = God (of that universe that he created) it's been pretty straight forward for many seasons.

So to those who think it was fan service think about ALL that. Not just how he disappeared and wore white at the end of Swan Song. These are all canon hints to him being God. This episode wasn't about fan service. It was about the continuation of God's story arc. It was about the grand reveal. It was about God finally showing himself and upping his game to help. It was about explaining why God left. It was about the ending of the long running gag of the absentee father. It was a way to wrap up all those hints to finally piece together God's story. It was about HIS side. Instead of the view point of all the other characters who talked down about him for leaving or not answering their prayers. It was about God's perspective. Not fan service. It all lined up perfectly. And I enjoyed it greatly. I personally would have been disappointed with all those hints if they back tracked and didn't make him God. I was looking forward to this big reveal ever since I got into the show. And it was Beautiful. And it made me cry. And kudos to Robbie Thompson.

Dean gave a silent sigh, going quiet as he listened. He held onto the mug a little tightly, anxious. He forced himself to actually listen to his brother, not defensive, just listening. It was hard as Sam went on, but he knew that it did need to be said. They’d refused to bring up a lot of things, and it was finally time to get it out.

He was surprisingly okay with the first few points that were brought up. The promises they made to each other, they were the reason they kept getting into the messes they were in. All their enemies– demons, angels, Hell, even werewolves and vampires– knew that, and they always used it against them. But, the moment he brought up Lisa and Ben, he wanted to correct him. They had done plenty of talking on that over the years, though there were a few points Dean never got around to telling him. He never told him how antsy he would get sometimes, how when he did have nightmares, he nearly hurt Lisa on a few occasions. He never stopped trying to figure something out, but it seemed hopeless after months of nothing. And, without Cas, he had had no one else to turn to, Bobby having said that they should let it be, lest something worse come around. But, he bit his tongue, jaw clenched tightly before the other continued on..

“Sam, there was a difference with Amy, in all of that. She was actually killing people. Yeah, it was for her kid, but that’s still something we can’t allow. Had Benny, or Lenore, turned that way, neither of us would’ve hesitated to,” he added softly, sighing. He massaged his forehead lightly, headache growing but pushing it off for the time being.

“Lenore wasn’t the first monster that I’ve ever trusted, Sam. I learned that lesson a long time before. But, even then, it was only temporary, as was Lenore, Ruby, Amy, all of them. I didn’t trust Benny completely, at first, but he saved my life more times than I could count. And, I know if I had to, I could stop him. And, I never trusted Ruby, Sam. I said that because I didn’t want to fight over it anymore. All we did was fight about everything, and I was tired of it.”

“Sam, there was no way to get him back out again, and I don’t think he wanted to come back. He didn’t fit in like he used to, and I think he knew that. I miss him sometimes, but I know he’s kicking ass just like he used to,” he added lightly, hand running through his hair.

Sam stared at his brother he didn't seem to get it. "Whatever your hiding from me about LIsa and Ben doesn't matter against my point." he said. "The point is you were happy with her. And you tried being Dad to Ben. And you had that life for a year. And I never said it didn't come with problems. But Amelia and I came with problems." he shook his head. "Try her supposed dead husband showing up."

He shook his head. "The point is Dean we both kind of sort of gave up on trying to save each other to attempt the impossible. That domestic normal life. And one of us had a more harsher reaction. Uh you specifically to the other doing so."

He smiled at his brother. "Which is oddly surprising considering I came back soulless. Soulless me was pretty mean. You'd think I'd have some nasty words to say about that one." he loved his brother.

Sam blinked. "Uh and what monster did you trust before Lenore. I had to pull your teeth practically to get you to trust her." he shook his head. "What monster friend did you have before Lenore? I don't want anymore secrets Dean. Spill please."

Sam then disagreed with Dean. "There was a way for Benny to come back. I was going to let his soul and Bobby's both hitch a ride. I was all set. And he told me know. It was very possible to carry both souls. And who the hell does fit into this world? Do you think we fit? hardly. Cas? Crowley even? hell hafl our friends, enemies, and frenemies don't fit. No one really does."

Sam sighed. "And someone should've told Benny that. It's a shame he doesn't he could've had me as a friend too. Oh well he made his choice. Amy is dead. Ruby is dead. Lenore is dead. Gadreel is dead. Who gives a shit anymore right?" He shrugged. "The past is the past. Why are we living in it Dean. Let's just say we boh fucked up plenty."

Then that brought Sam to another thing that bothered him. " You know half the shit we've done to each other isn't nearly as bad as what we did to Adam. I mean I know we didn't directly do it to him. But Dean we gave up on the kid. We left him in hell for over 600 years. And I know we hardly knew him but we spent all that time trying to protect him just to let him down. We're kind of shitty big brothers. Maybe we should try to get him out and make it up to him."
