      Adrienne wrapped her arm tighter around the girl, rubbing her shoulders comfortingly. “I just can’t help but think they had something to do with this…” She whispered, shaking her head. ”If they did…then they are êtres humains dégoûtants. We must trust each other. And stick together. Just not those two.” She hugs the girl tightly.

❝They had to have something to do with this! Since they arrived bad things started happening. I wish they would just go away, if Elsa were to make them leave that would be great. It seems like he wants all the authority and power for himself. He wants to 'overthrow' Elsa.❞ Her hands balled up into fists ash her mood quickly turned to that of anger.

"No, I can’t even ride bike. But I’m sure that the others here know. Like the contortionists. Just practice when not doing show, that is how I learned ballet. I practice six hours a day till I get right, and took awhile for me to get good. But is worth it in end, when preforming it feels better on stage. People look at dancing not at wings."

❝Oh, well...I guess you're right I'll ask them. Someone will surely know, this is a circus after all!❞ She gave the girl a weak smile. ❝You practice so much!. Don't you get tired eventually. Six hours is a lot of time, I couldn't imagine doing that for so long, but I guess I will need to so...❞

    “We will never forget him.” Then, at her words, Adrienne nods. She knew the feeling. “They try to pin the blame on us because we are different than them.” She said, softly. “They are convinced we are capable of such horrors. If they can convince themselves and the public that an innocent creature such as Meep could do these things…what will they find us guilty of?” Especially those like Adrienne, whose robotic strength could be considered a direct threat. “C’est un cauchemar, vraiment."

❝You're right. They do think we could do something like that, when if fact they would do that in a heartbeat. Honestly I think they will accuse us of anything just to get us behind bars, they want to separate us we can't let that happen. We have to stick together and trust each other, but that will be difficult considering the two new additions to our troupe...❞ Of course she was referring to Desiree and Dell. Since they came here nothing but trouble has happened.

  He’s silent a moment, eyes boring into hers, before  he turns and digs into the fridge - only to return with  a bowl of brownies. With a heavy sigh he pushes the  sweets over to the girl and sits down at the kitchen table.

For a moment she just stared at him, waiting to see what he would do. She expected for him to throw her out. When she saw the sweets her eyes lit up. With haste she reached over to grab one, she was about to take a bite when he started talking. ❝I thought I'd be in and out before you came back...Honestly I don't like to admit that I need something, it makes me feel weak...❞

    “Ja, ja, er ist ein Monster! Lassen Sie sich nicht irgend jemand Ihnen anders erzählen. Menschen wie ihn nicht verdienen, frei zu laufen. Sie verdienen es, für das Leid, das sie verursacht haben inhaftiert werden. Nicht jeder sieht es so-vor allem Wissenschaftler wie er, oder Menschen, die uns für Dinge, die nicht unsere Schuld zu meiden." Adrienne said, her words alive with the fire on the passion she felt on the matter. At her newest statement, her eyebrows furrowed. An assistant? Her mother? She didn’t press it further.

   Instead she continued to hold her close, brushing wispy hair from the girl’s forehead. “Sie sind herzlich eingeladen, Kind … weine nicht. Trocknen Sie Ihre Augen. Ich habe dich jetzt.”

❝Ich verspreche, ich werde ihn ins Gefängnis geworfen haben, wenn es das Letzte was ich tun ist!❞ She shouted almost thinking he could hear her, even though she knew he couldn't.

Quickly Nadja wiped away her tears. She promised herself never to let this happen because of the asshole that hurt her. She took a few more deep breaths  to get her breathing back to normal.

"Please, sit. Make yourself at home."

The brunette raised a brow at her, but still sat in one of the old wooden chairs. ❝You asked me to come. So what’s this all about?❞

Rose sighed when Nadja seemed to relax. The girl rarely saw the other, mostly because Rose was confined to the water tank during show time. Can’t sell the girl as a mermaid if she’s wandering around among the audience. She shouldn’t be lurking about out here in the dark with their lives in danger like they suddenly were. Such dark times for the usually merry band. They’ll never be the same now.

❝I understand. Those men are wretched and I know this won’t be over as soon as we’d like it to be. I should have just paced around in my tent like I thought about doing.❞ The girl looked up at the sky. ❝I do too, but I’m hopeful that day will come again soon. Where we don’t have to fear anymore.❞

❝This cerfew will be the end of us, honestly. I heard this new strongman has a few ideas of his own, frankly I believe he wants to take control here. He is bad news, the others told me what he did to Jimmy...❞  Nadja wished he would just leave them alone. Her opinion on  his wife wasn't any better. By the look of it they're here to stay.
