it's not dumb. i'm allowed to feel human for a few years before realizing i out live every person that i fall in love with.

            i didn’t mean it like that. i meant you should guard yourself and take better care of yourself than that. that would be like me letting people play in my hair even though it hurts like hell, just because i wanna have the experience other people have when it happens when in reality,  i won’t.  and you  don’t.  because in the end you’re still constantly thinking about when the end comes, and it hurts; just like i’ll still be feeling the pain while someone’s fingers are tangling in my hair.

               so maybe it’s not dumb, but it’s still…  unwise.  save that for someone that can share the same lifespan that you have.
