it was colder than usual. not that hux was about to admit it to anyone – but he really needed to thaw before heading back outside. the park still wasn’t ready for the season, but he could only lose so much feeling in his toes. chucking his board into the snow by the café entrance, he made his way inside, pulling off his goggles and beanie before running a hand through his hair and looking around. it was full. of course it was. padding over to the counter, he got his usual order – a pasta salad, two sandwiches and a cup of coffee, before padding over to a table with a free chair. looking over at the person already sat by the table, he offered his best smile. ”you mind if i have a seat?” not really waiting for an answer, hux sat down. 

PRISCILLA  had  her  laptop  in  front  of  her ,  open  to  the  page  of  her  work’s  website ,  she  was  waiting  for  the  sold  sign  to  be  added  onto  the  listing  of  the  house  she  had  just  sold .  this  was  something  she  did  often ,  it  was  somewhat  narcissistic  but  she  loved  the  feeling  of  closing  and  would  celebrate  that  in  any  way .  in  this  case ,  it  was  with  a  coffee  and  a  sandwich .  PRISCILLA  looked  up  as  a  familiar  face  graced  her  vision .   ❛   of  course  you  can  sit ,  it’s  nice  to  have  some  company  for  a  change .  ❜

although the club could get pretty rowdy at night – most of the time of day it was just like any other bar. despite that, oak took pride in making sure that the music being played was up to their own standards. it wasn’t all that rare for them to step in behind the bar if need be. unfortunately, someone had called in sick, leaving oak sighing behind the bar for a few hours. looking up, a new face had settled across from them, and a soft smile settled on their face. “what can i get you?”

AZI  loved  how  safe  the  club  felt  for  him  to  be  himself  and  he  really  let  his  true  colours  show  when  he  was  there  and  he  had  oak  to  thank  for  that .  he  headed  over  to  the  bar  and  thought  about  what  he  wanted  for  a  moment  ,   ❛   can  i  please  just  grab a  coke  ,  i’ve  got  work  in  the  morning .  ❜  it  wasn’t  often  that  he  drank  because  he  liked  to  be  on  top  form  for  all  of  his  tours  and  alcohol  would  absolutely  impair  him .

the day was moving slower than ever despite work being busy. already having enough on their mind, and work being filled with what felt like mediocre tattoo ideas and a couple piercings, riley just needed something to distract them from life in general. there had already been a wave of clients wanting to change their designs or sizes a million times before actually settling, and riley was way behind schedule for the day. not that they really cared all that much – it was the only tattoo shop in town, so where else were people gonna go? they’d have to deal with it. having taken a quick break and squeezing in a smoke in the alley out back, riley made their way back into the shop and up front, a small sigh leaving them as they leaned against the front desk. “alright. who’s next?”

PANDORA  wasn’t  sure  why  she  was  currently  walking  into  the  tattoo  shop ,  she  was  feeling  somewhat  spontaneous  ,  she  was  telling  herself  she  was  just  there  to  say  hi  to  riley  but  really  she  was  feeling  like  she  wanted  to  do  something  a  little  bit  out  of  her  comfort  zone .  PANDORA  wasn’t  a  tattoo  kinda  girl  but  maybe  she  could  be  if  she  found  the  right  one  ,  she  had  a  flick  through  some  of  the  folders  on  offer  before  looking  through  pinterest  on  her  phone  and  then  it  came  to  her  .   ❛  hey ,  riley ,  how’s  your  day  going ?  you  look  like  you  could  do  with  a  break .  ❜

❛  so  this  is  where  you’ll  get  the  best  coffee  in  town   ❜  AZI  was  just  finishing  up  his  final  tour  of  the  day  and  he  finished  off  by  giving  out  some  coupons  for  the  local  businesses ,   ❛   enjoy  your  vacation ,  hopefully  i’ll  see  you  around .    ❜  he  turned  around  clipboard  in  hand  and  accidentally  walked  into  someone.  AZI  became  imediately  flustered  and  put  his  hand  up  to  stop  the  other  person  from  falling  .    ❛    i  am  so  sorry ,  i  really  should  start  looking  where  i’m  going .   ❜

❛   unbelievable !   ❜  PANDORA  couldn’t  believe  what  she  was  seeing ,   ❛   leave  me  alone !   ❜ she  was  being  faced  with  several  members  of  the  paparazzi ,  she  didn’t  realise  that  people  were  aware  that  she  had  returned  to  taos .    she  thought  that  she  was  in  the  clear  here  but  obviously  that  was  wishful  thinking .  PANDORA  more  or  less  ran  into  the  nearest  store  to  her .   ❛    sorry  to  barge  in ,  there’s  people  out  there  taking  pictures  of  me ,  do  you  know  if  there’s  a  back  door  that  i  can  run  out  of ?   ❜

“you know, maybe i should’ve stopped eating fried food after the first two plates,” edwin groaned, holding up the triangular half of a fried grilled cheese sandwich. he absolutely loved events like these, though judging by his current state, he got a little bit too excited this time. but who could blame him? from the second he stepped outside, the wonderful smells of the food booths had drifted over to him. “d’you want some of mine? i should probably take a break from these and find something green.”

AZI  scrunched  his  nose  and  shook  his  head  ,  it’s  not  that  he  was  a  germaphobe  but  he  absolutely  was  and  he  wasn’t  about  to  eat  someone’s  food    .   ❛  i’m  good  thank  you ,    ❜  he  gave  a  smile  and  lifted  his  coffee  ,   ❛  i  live  of  this  stuff ,  so  i  don’t  really  need  much  else .   ❜

The lighting of the full moon and surrounding ambiance made for some wonderful lighting, and Benjamin was going to take full advantage of it. Sure he wasn’t going to find any wildlife in a crowd of people but portrait photography had been a second love of his anyway. “Excuse me…?” He approached someone with a touch of nervousness at having to ask. “Would you mind if I took a few photos of you?” Ben lifted his camera hoping the professional model would put the person at ease and show them he wasn’t just some random person taking pictures on an iPhone. “I have a website if you prefer to see that first.”

PRISCILLA  was  used  to  being  spotted  and  very  occasionally  papped  so  when  someone  approached  her  with  a  camera ,  her  guard  immediately  came  up  .  ❛    what’s  it  for ?   ❜  she  tilted  her  head  a  little  as  she  tried  to  suss  him  out ,  he  honestly  didn’t  look  shady  or  like  he  was  trying  to  make  money  from  a  photo  of  her , ❛    i’ll  take  a  look  at  your  website  ,  if  you  don’t  mind  ?  ❜

In spite of her meteoric rise to fame, Samantha was always a family gal. In fact, the only reason she’d come to this resort was at the behest of her mother, who felt that Sam needed to follow her gut regarding the whole Evangeline debacle. So, ever the dutiful daughter, she found herself dropping her bags off and running to the nearest sweet shop she could find. Her entire family had a penchant for sweets, so Samantha had a decent idea of what they might like. She’d already nabbed some pralines for herself and her dad, but she was overwhelmed with choice for her mother.

She’d been rifling through the shelves when another person entered her peripheral vision. Turning to them, she gave them her brightest grin as she asked, “I’m so sorry to bother you, but could I ask for your opinion? I’m gettin’ some sweets for my folks back home and I’m a bit overwhelmed with choice. Do you happen to have a favorite among all of these goodies?

PRISCILLA  had  been  watching  from  the  sidelines  as  someone  that  she  seriously  recognised  but  couldn’t  figure  out  where  from ,  seemed  to  be  struggling  with  the  candy  selection .  she  approached  and  smiled  as  she  turned  around  ,  as  she  heard  her  voice ,  that  was  when  the  penny  dropped .  ❛   i  would  say  anything  chocolate  but  my  tastes  are  very  basic ,  ❜   she  almost  wanted  to  pitch  a  sale  for  a  house  that  would  be  perfect  for  samantha  but  she  decided  to  let  the  other  keep  a  low  profile ,  she  knew  all  too  well  what  it  was  like  to  be  recognised ,  she  herself  had  made  quite  a  name  for  herself ,  selling  houses  to  some  of  the  most  famous  people  in  the  world  did  that . PRISCILLA  grabbed  a  simple  bar  of  hersheys  off  the  rack  and  passed  it  over , ❛    sometimes  simple  is  better  ,  ❜

the festival was wrapping up, and he'd spent it with his head in a bin. he'd been convinced by his sister to accompany her on the zipper. he should have not had three of those deep-fried grilled cheese sandwiches. when he emerged from the home that he'd made, elsie was nowhere to be seen. he didn't see any children around, with most families going home when the sun set. the vibe was changing to a more adult set up, people filtering in and out of the bar. people looking for a perfect spot to look at the full moon.

❛  you  look  awful ,  ❜   it  was  probably  a  bit  of  a  rude  statement  but  he  really  didn’t  look  well  and  anyone  with  eyes  could  see  that  ,  PANDORA  smiled  now   ❛   eat  too  much  ?   ❜   she  herself  had  eaten  way  more  than  what  she  usually  did  but  had  avoided  any  activity  that  would  have  her  looking  as  bad  as  this .

PRISCILLA was born in taos, new mexico. her family had immigrated from azerbaijan and decided to move back there when PRISCILLA was ten, she wasn’t happy about the move as she had settled into taos really well. she went on to move back when she was eighteen and enrolled into college there. PRISCILLA had always loved real estate, she was fascinated by big houses in particular and luxury real estate was just perfect for her. she found it quite difficult to get into but once she had her foot in the door, she was in. her career took off from there and she absolutely excelled in the field. she became one of the best real estate agents in the state. PRISCILLA has sold well over a hundred houses in her time and she has never grown bored of what she does. she still adores what she does and is still so good at it.

AZI grew up in quite rubbish circumstances in taos, new mexico. he was in and out of foster care from the age of three and was eventually adopted into a family at the age of seven. his life went up from there and AZI adored his family, he finally felt as though he belonged. AZI grew up on the slopes and he quickly became incredibly skilled at skiing. he would go skiing regularly and would spend all of his free time doing it. he made so many friends in the skiing community and truly found his place. AZI came out as bisexual at the age of twenty and although he lost a couple of friends, he was mostly supported. he loved his town so much that he decided he wanted to show other people the best parts of taos. he became a tour guide for the resort and introduced people to all areas of taos. he is a gift shop assistant on the side but his main source of income is from being a tour guide.

PANDORA was born in taos, new mexico. her parents were born there as well so they were well established in the area. PANDORA was absolutely and utterly in love with taos, she made so many friends throughout school and her childhood and her teenage years were just so happy. PANDORA loved acting, she would always take part in the school plays and shows and she would put on shows for her family at home too. going to drama school was something that PANDORA knew she wanted to do from the beginning and she ended up moving across the country just to go to her school of choice. she was so good at what she did but she could never decide what she actually wanted to do with her education. she played some big parts in a couple of movies and tv shows but ultimately decided that she missed the place she loves the most so has decided to make her way back to taos. she is taking a hiatus from acting but knows that she will eventually go back to it.
