There are many ways to feel passion for football, but none that can compare with supporting Real Madrid.
"Football is a form of culture, made in and by the collective watching of the event, the follow-up argument and analysis, the folklore that is passed down from generations. It is soap opera on grass, providing main narratives, sidelines, unlikely diversions, wonderful arrays of character" - The Cambridge Companion to Football
"There’s no point in making predictions. It’s not worth speculating because nothing is set in stone and things change all the time in football. Today there are opportunities that no one knows if they will come round again in the future. "
↳football meme → quotes "How many clubs can say that they have a world class, youth academy graduate for a captain? For a symbol? ‘cause he is a symbol. When you think Madrid, you think Iker. You think those scarves and flags around his waist. You think him touching the crossbar. You think him crying and crying because Madrid is his one true love. (as if this club is not the love of his life). Is there ANYONE who shows this much passion, this much LOVE for Real Madrid?" - Millie.

Founded in 1902 as Madrid Football Club, the team has traditionally worn a white home kit since. The word real is Spanish for royal and was bestowed to the club by King Alfonso XIII in 1920 together with the royal crown in the emblem. The team has played its home matches in the 85,454-capacity Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in downtown Madrid since 1947. Unlike most European football clubs, Real Madrid’s members (socios) have owned and operated the club since its inception.
