— DEREK COULDN’T HELP BUT SMILE at how cute marcus was being. for all his size, marcus was very sensitive – something that derek had picked up on even when they were children. marcus was someone for derek to care for and protect and that affection had never waivered for him. “well, it’s always on the table should you feel the need to use it.” he allowed his finger tips to tickle marcus’ side in an effort to keep the mood light. “you can pick the movie… but i’ll have to pick snacks if we’re doing this … you in the mood for chinese food?”
— AFTER JUST LETTING OUT HIS FRUSTRATION IN the safety of derek’s arms marcus was starting to feel a little better. he let out a small laugh as derek tickled him in the side and marcus stretched out on the couch. “i would love chinese food,” he replied, opening netflix to find the perfect movie to relax to. the blankets from the side of the sofa were pulled down to make a cuddly pile around him. “do you have some chocolate ?” he let his bottom lip jut out in a small pout. “i’ve had a very rough day.”
