My three final pieces for my Collection's project. After looking into make-up and nail-art, I decided to include some research into a few of my favourite Japanese fashion subcultures - Lolita, Visual Kei, and Decora. Before looking into makeup as a collection, I thought about using my collection of compact mirrors - so I decided to include mirrors in my final design. The idea was much like "Mirror, mirror, on the wall", but rather than who's the 'fairest', I decided to go with 'coolest', 'cutest', and 'sweetest' to match the fashion trend. My collection has been very much based on the idea of self-image and how you present yourself, and how the way you express yourself through your makeup, hair and clothing makes others see you, and how you see yourself.
