James: Me neither, honestly. It's great. I have projects but nothing TOO important, I get to focus on my family, it's a nice change for now. Wooooooow I see how it is lol They're like...handsome grays though, right? Honestly, the plot twist most people didn't see coming.

It was a lot of pressure running a whole Institute. Exactly. I know he's not going to make any decisions to dick over the Downworlders since he's married to one

Lorcan: me too. Everyone coming around is the ultimate dream for me. Everything I ever wanted. Eh, I wouldn’t have blamed you one bit. Not that I never lacked faith in Lysander but I was on edge when he took over. It’s just that adjustment period, no matter how much you have faith in someone.

I think maybe I would have been more nervous is Javi had been single? But him being married to a werewolf makes me feel like he'll keep things moving in the right direction

James: Just glad the pack is finally coming around and realizing I was serious about this. I probably would have just kept delaying the turning if I didn't have faith in him lol

I understood the concern but I wasn’t worried. The pack also understands loyalty so I can see them thinking that it would take the time to separate yourself

James: I wouldn't have joined if I hadn't felt ready to commit to the pack. I know how they work. And I can still look out for my Shadowhunters from a distance. I think it might have been harder to separate if I didn't have such complete faith in Javi, but it was easier to let go knowing he was in charge.

Lorcan: I guess it’s also us trying to figure out what is “normal” now. But it’s an adjustment and I’m here every step of the way, you know that. Noooo. I hate fighting. They are. I can tell. Plus I may or may not have overheard people talking about how impressive you were. It made me very proud as your partner and the one who turned you =P

James: That's true...it's hard to let go of what's been normal for me my whole life, though. But I like to think I'm making progress on it. It helps that I have such an amazing partner ;) Really? That's a relief. I've been so worried that the pack not liking me was going to start reflecting on you. Glad I could make you proud

I would love to see who thinks they could take you. I can put the word out you’re ready to get back in and see if there’s any takers. I don’t want to fight you. I’d prefer our fights to be verbal or during the moons if we’re going to fight tbh. you did more than prove yourself.

Idk. Is there someone you have in mind? Hmm. Okay. Fuck you. Oh no. I didn’t mean it. I think they’ll come around. Honestly this was the first time they got to see it. But I think they respected that fight.

I mean if you really want to fight we can :P That's good then, I guess. Hopefully things are at least moving in the right direction with them then.
