So I’ve taken it upon myself to sort my dress patterns and fabric lately which means I can lend out the patterns that I have access of (which apparently is a lot of duplicates) and if anyone wants a new dress I’d be more than happy to show you my fabric and you can mix and match as long as I have the materials for it. I can either sew it for you or you can sew it yourself.
Distractions are always welcome while I’m sewing too.
Do you by chance have any tiny patterns?

There’s this pattern of it never ending well for them.
Never stop using your voice, sweetheart. Just use it smartly.
So with the way that things have been going over the last few weeks, I wanted to develop a small research project for my class. It’ll have a couple different parts to it, but I think you guys might enjoy it. A bit of a break from you having to listen to me drone on and on every day. Obviously, only the students in my class will be graded on it, but anyone is welcome to do it if it strikes your fancy.
So what I want you guys to do is to pick someone, anyone from history, and write a short paper on whether you think that person is a Dominant or a non-dominant. This isn’t just a “because I said so” type of thing. I want you guys to research who the person was in history. Find primary documents that help back up your theory. Go to the library or hit the internet to gather evidence. If you find something that states that your person is one way or the other, don’t just believe it. Convince me that they weren’t lying about their mark.
The paper should be at least 1000 words, covering basic biography of your person, what your theory is, and why you think so. Be creative with this. I’m giving you all a bit more freedom to play around a bit. The only rule I have is that said person has to be in a history book. So chances are, most people within the last twenty or so years are out. Go ham. Philosophers, politicians, artists, musicians, writers, rulers, etc. The list goes on.
If you want to run your topic by me first or you have any questions, let me know. A rough draft of the first part is due by next Friday, so get cracking. Have fun with this. Yes, it’s homework, but find someone who’s inspired you or someone you’ve always wanted to learn more about, past what your lessons have taught you. I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with.
I think this is absolutely a brilliant idea, Amira. Not that you need my approval, of course, but you deserve the compliment, nonetheless. I think it could spark some in depth thinking.
