ᴮᴵᵀᶜᴴ ᴼᵁᵀ ᴼᶠ ᵂᴬᵀᴱᴿ: Wow! I’m honestly baffled by this kind of number right now! I’ve suffered through so much over the course of my time being on this website, and, for a while (about four or five months) I thought that my time on here was over as Singa, the mun of Toujou, Ishimaru (formerly), and several other blogs of my past; however, due to the ironic unceremonious outing of a blog’s vendetta against me, I learned that it wasn’t the case!
Being Marzipan for those few months to escape the constant attacks received from nowhere was really a wonderful time, but when I was outed and nobody abandoned me for being who I was (and understanding my reasoning), I felt tears fall down my face out of pure joy. Really, I’d been so terrified for a long time that having a community stand up for me and take the time to just be positive toward my situation really meant so much.
I’ve been in this community for almost two years now. TWO years. I’ve battled unfair accusations, spies (on me), people abandoning me (after lying to my face), people screenshotting and making fun of me, my friends being harassed and threatened, someone trying to say I was in a torture server, and more… But the more I glance over the years I’ve wandered this fandom, I’ve come to know a lot of you as kind people who’ve taken me in and hugged me when I cried, who’ve taught me how to strive toward a better me no matter the circumstance, who’ve had my back and given people who hurt me a hard time…
So many of us should remember those we’ve come to know of as “Friends.”–best or not, lovers or platonic, speaking all the time or speaking little of the time. Sometimes, we forget that not all friendships are the same, but we know that each one is valuable… To everyone I’ve called friends, you’ll never know how much you mean to me and how much I care about you in full; I mean, some of you even know I mention you outside of the internet! Thank you…we may not have the ability to see each other offline, but you’ve been people I’ve never been more grateful to know.
