 She looked up at Kaia, she seemed so serious, so genuine, was that actually what she thought?
"I-I should go change back to my usual clothes…" She quickly changed the topic.
"Y-yeah you go do that." She realized how serious she had gotten just then. When Suki went to go change, she hurried out of the room.
She nodded and left, coming back a little while later only to notice Kaia was gone. She ended up heading back down to her room
"Hey hey hey. No. Look I’ve never been taught that there was anything wrong with being fat, so I’m not gonna say anything about that but listen to me. You’re not disgusting. You’re beautiful and you seem really sweet and I have met some...
She looked up at Kaia, she seemed so serious, so genuine, was that actually what she thought?
"I-I should go change back to my usual clothes…" She quickly changed the topic.
 "I’m fat and disgusting, you don’t want to be like me." She looked down, hugging herself tightly, "There’s nothing good about me."
"Hey hey hey. No. Look I’ve never been taught that there was anything wrong with being fat, so I’m not gonna say anything about that but listen to me. You’re not disgusting. "I am, I'm disgusting and hideous and- and repulsive!" Soon she was crying again, really it seemed like what she spent the majority of her time doing.
She sighed. “I can tell you don’t believe me. But I’m serious! You’re really pretty.” She gave a small smile. “Sometimes I wish I looked the way you do.”
"You- you want to look like me?" She was shocked by the other girl’s words, was she...

 "A-ah- well- I-" She stammered, not really too sure how to respond to that, she’d never had anyone call her pretty let alone the text book definition of it, "But…"
She sighed. “I can tell you don’t believe me. But I’m serious! You’re really pretty.” She gave a small smile. “Sometimes I wish I looked the way you do.”
"You- you want to look like me?" She was shocked by the other girl's words, was she really serious? "But you're so thin…"
She muttered the last bit.
"What do you mean? You’re like the textbook definition of beautiful: tall, pretty eyes, nice dark hair, you’re gorgeous." This was easy for Kaia. She liked complimenting people.
"A-ah- well- I-" She stammered, not really too sure how to respond to that, she'd never had anyone call her pretty let alone the text book definition of it, "But..."
She continued on crying, repeating her apology every once and a while. All that the other girl had wanted was for her to try on a shirt, why couldn’t she just listen to directions?
She ended up picking up the shirt she had dropped and just leaving, returning a little...

"Hey, don’t hurt yourself." The smirk and the joke came out before she could stop them. Shit. "I mean, if you’d rather not try it on, I can respect that. I’m not trying to make you feel uncomfortable or anything." She glanced at the door,...

She ended up picking up the shirt she had dropped and just leaving, returning a little while later wearing it.
It actually did fit, though was a little tight and the light pink didn't match the earthy tones of the rest of her outfit at all. In her hand she had her old shirt along with the corset she wore, looking at the way it was rolled up it seemed it was actually boned but really the only difference it seemed to make was to smooth everything out a little.
So she stood there in front of Kaia, her head hung and sniffling but at least not crying anymore.
 Suki just continued stuttering, her gaze moving down to her shoes and her gloved hands starting to cling to her scarf, curling in upon herself even more.
"Hey, don’t hurt yourself." The smirk and the joke came out before she could stop them. Shit. "I mean, if you’d rather not try it on, I can respect that. I’m not trying to make you feel uncomfortable or anything." She glanced at the door, wondering if she should just leave the girl alone.
Oh dear, now she's crying, she'd angered the other girl, hadn't she. She may have said that it was fine but really who was fooled, she angered everyone she talked to.
"I'm so sorry." She finally managed to say.
 She just stared at Kaia, stuttering out a response that wouldn’t be understood. She had no idea what was going on, why was she being so nice?
She stared back, confusion clear on her face. The shirt was really pretty so why didn’t she want to try it on? “I’m,uh, sorry I didn’t catch that. Could you say that again? Please.”
Suki just continued stuttering, her gaze moving down to her shoes and her gloved hands starting to cling to her scarf, curling in upon herself even more.
"Huh? Why not? It would look great on you!" She smiled again.
She just stared at Kaia, stuttering out a response that wouldn't be understood. She had no idea what was going on, why was she being so nice?
"Are you sure? I mean, it might be a little short since you’re pretty tall, but you should still try it on. It’s such a cute top!"
She just shook her head, she didn't deserve to be wearing something so nice and she still doubted it would fit, even though it likely would.
"I couldn't..."
She shook her head. "Oh nothing. Just thinking about one of my friends." Noticing the top in the other girl's hand she grinned. "Aw man that's gorgeous! Are you gonna try it on?"
"H-huh?" She stuttered, looking back down at the top and then back up at Kaia, "Oh, no, I...I couldn't...it's far too small and far too nice, I couldn't."
She examined one of the dresses. It was black and sheer. Just the way she liked them. She held it up to her body and turned towards to the other girl. “We have…had a classmate that would have loved this place. He loved cute dresses like these.”
Suki was still quite overwhelmed by the room but ended up wandering over to a group of tops, she guessed that might be the best place to start. She'd taken one of them, a light, flowy collared top, off it's hanger and was examining it.
It was made so perfectly perfectly made, and silk to top it all off. The seams were so neat and all those tiny little stitches, it was obvious quite a bit of time was put into this top.
"Huh?" Suddenly though the other girl had started speaking again and of course she had managed to miss it, she was horrible, how could she just ignore another person like that?
She just remained silent, she knew that she’d messed up, that she was horrible. She’d known that for quite a long time.
Suddenly though the other girl said it might be okay, would it really be? The clothes and here were gorgeous…she doubted she could pull any of them...
She winced at the swearing but nodded in agreement, if she said so she guessed it must be true.
"I guess so…" She looked around a little, there were so many clothes she didn't even know where to begin.
 "I-I was unsure of whether or not to come up here…I did anyways without permission…" She hung her head, "Please forgive me…and I swear I wasn’t going to take any of this."
"H-Hey, it’s alright. You got nothing to apologize for. I mean, this floor wouldn’t have opened if we weren’t supposed to come up here right? I’m not sure about the clothes, though. They’re really cute, maybe we’re allowed to take a few?"
She just remained silent, she knew that she'd messed up, that she was horrible. She'd known that for quite a long time.
Suddenly though the other girl said it might be okay, would it really be? The clothes and here were gorgeous…she doubted she could pull any of them off though…plus it was doubtful any would actually fit her.
"Oh, uh, well…"
Suki whipped around at the voice, oh no, she had entered an area she shouldn’t have. She was so stupid. She’d been going to the kitchen, she should’ve just ignored the new development and continued on like nothing had even happened.
