allura flushes a bit and nods curtly, “they are.” she glances at shiro who was working in something, eyes focused on the screen. “what makes you say that though?”

lotor hums. “they are apart, distant for a long time, yet they are so devoted and dedicated to each other. such loyalty is rare.”

it is, she thinks as she recalls the times keith fiercely protected shiro and how shiro stubbornly refuse to leave keith behind.

“it is.” she vocalizes her thoughts almost fondly.

“that kind of love is the strongest in my view.” lotor continues, eyes never leaving the screen. “shows how distance will not affect their relationship in any negative way.”

“you are absolutely right.” allura agrees, delighted and happy. “and whenever they do have the chance to meet, their interactions are the same as ever – filled with love and fondness. i find that refreshing.”

the conversation ended then, but allura looks at shiro and smiles – shiro also had a gentle smile graced across his face, the screen showing a clear view of keith who also returned the beam.
