I wonder how they get IVs into Supergirl. Do they have kryptonite tipped needles just for her? They can’t have her healing too quickly and force the IVs out, so do they have kryptonite laced tubing? Or did they equip the med labs with dampeners?

#was wondering the same thing#I assume kryptonite medical equipment#because in a JLU episode#some scientist guy mentions they had to use kryptonite-tipped equipment to operate on Kara#but honestly why doesn’t the DEO invest in some artificial red sunlight emitters or whatever?#doesn’t it do essentially the same thing as kryptonite but#ya know#MINUS the harmful destruction at the cellular level?#kryptonite just seems so risky
