aww hello! so nice to see you in my inbox.

things are okay! i've spent the past 4 months trying to find a summer internship, and it was a rough time swimming in the 10ft deep pool of molasses that is the current job market, but i am finally employed as of yesterday!! so that's a huge weight off my back. gonna be designing dams!

other than that i am reading a ton (as much as an engineering student can tbh) and still writing but original short stories now. i find them to feel much more purposeful than the fanfic i've written in the past (which also feels original to me), where i was more feeding my own insanity. with the stuff im doing now it's a lot more controlled, which is partly because im handing it in in a class, but it is nice.

how are you though!! watch any good movies lately?
