Week 24: caricature a professional wrestler

I am like one of those people that doesn’t care for professional wrestling but am like fascinated by the characters.

I did not have a lot of time for this week’s prompt but wanted to get something in, so I touched up a model I had started over the summer. 

I also skipped the first, obvious answers about family and friends. When I’m in a foul mood or having a bad day, sculpting in ZBrush has been very calming and I feel better working on a model.

Week 23: magical boys

So like obviously, my first answer to this prompt is “my friends/family” followed by “sleeping,” but I didn’t really feel like drawing either of those. My third answer is “Persona” but I already filled my Persona quota yesterday. So my fourth answer would have to be a film that I can watch whenever that cheers me up when I’m bummed, Kiki’s Delivery Service. For some reason, I really wanted to do like a SD type thing, so here’s that.

Week 22: something that cheers you up when you're down

Whoops, I totally forgot that I hadn’t drawn any prompts for September. Also, this is a fitting prompt to go after last week’s, haha.

I scribbled this out in 5 minutes so I could go back to playing TPP. My game tells me I’m only about 20% finished, so I don’t know if Quiet is sad or not since she hasn’t said anything, but she just kinda seems sad. Or maybe not! It’s hard to tell.

Also, as if it needs saying, MGSV:TPP is a fantastic game with stunning amounts of gameplay variability and customization. You know a game is good when I can make my entire base and all of my vehicles pink.

So I have a drawer next to my computer table filled with miscellaneous action figure parts... Here’s Justimon’s Accel Arm! It came with one of those action figures that could Digivolve between two Digimon, in this case Cyberdramon and Justimon. The Justimon part had swappable Accel and Blitz Arms.

I totally forgot about this prompt on accident and I couldn’t figure out what to do so here’s my cop out lol. I googled “a bunch of corgis” and I think this image fits our gatherings p well. There were only six corgis so pretend I’m just like an invisible seventh corgi.

Besides, I think Elizabeth's is better than anything I could’ve done, so you should just look at hers!!

Our group as corgis. Some of these are inspired by photos I took when we skyped, when Jake and I were in HK.  I had no idea what to do for mine, so I made a tsum tsum corgi.

My favorite Yosuke headcanon is that Yosuke is super deep in the closet and the IT plans stuff like this to try to nudge him and Souji to admit their feelings for each other. And Yosuke’s like super dense so he never realizes that the IT is pushing them together. (Souji totally knows and plays along.)

This game of Twister was 100% rigged by Teddie. Souji’s next spin is totally gonna be right hand blue. Yosuke is too flustered to notice that Teddie isn’t reading the right colors, Souji is playing along, and Kanji is in on it.

I didn’t think this would be such a difficult prompt for me, but it was. Or maybe I’m so accustomed to drawing fanart that I can’t draw original art any more. The character on the left is a character for my elf pantheon. Then two pieces of crap, then a legitimately good personification of time, Clockwork!
