I do not believe there is much good in the world. Survival makes people horrible; they are justified, but still horrible. We live in a country that wants to invade and conquer whatever it sees fit, then spew the words of diplomacy to cover up their faults. We have invented weapons that wipe civilizations out. Not everyone is horrible, though, is what I'm saying. I see where you're coming from, but I still have hope that there are good people out there who aren't like what you're saying they are.
