Skye: I'm happy, really really happy and excited!

Cole: Well, my thinking was, that he could stay in your apartment, that is normally how pet adoption works.

Skye: Oh my gosh, are you serious?!

Cole: But my point! Was that he could keep you company and whatnot.

Skye: How? I don't think I'd be able to visit the shelter everyday.

Cole: Small little guy, he was a stray. Scares really easy though. Has people issues, for obvious reasons.

Cole: I just hate how they don't have names, I name most the animals.

Skye: I can imagine, you never really know what those dogs go through.

Skye: I think its sweet that you give them all names.

Cole: He's a Jack Russell Terrier Dachshund Mix.

Cole: I named him Albert. Even though you aren't supposed to name the dogs. He looked like an Albert to me.

Skye: OMG, thats the cutest.

Skye: Albert's a good name, you're totally going to be attached to him now.

Cole: Have I? Sorry. Well, I'm at work and there's a puppy here he's pretty cute.

Skye: I feel like you have but I could be wrong, and like... having deja vu. Its fine. What kind of Puppy is it?

Skye: I feel like you've asked me this before, But I love dogs. Why?

"And I’m cute too right? I remember you said something about that too." He handed her the sandwich that he wrapped in plastic wrap, reaching for a tomato and cheese one for himself. "Have you ever thought about getting a dog or cat or something? Just askin’ ‘cause it seems kinda quiet. I mean I can only come over so much you know?" He laughed softly.

"Yes, you're cute too. Very cute" she smiled accepting the sandwich from him. "I actually have, I miss my dog back home but I'm pretty sure he officially belongs to my mom by now. I'm not really a fan of cats but I definitely feel like I need a puppy in my life, besides you" she laughed teasingly.

He smiled into the kiss before pulling away and pulling out the stuff from the basket. “I made sandwiches but then I wasn’t sure what kind and I figured by asking I’d ruin it so I packed tuna salad, ham and cheese and tomatoes and cheese, which is my favourite kind.” He smiled at her. “There’s dessert which is definitely my favourite part, because I have fruit and chocolate. He picked both containers up and set them aside. He couldn’t help but smile widely. “So? What do you think?”

Listening as he spoke she smiled back and watched as he unpacked everything "I think its cute, everything looks great." she told him "Thank you" taking a look inside of the containers she shrugged "I'll go with the Ham and cheese"

"You can totally have dessert first though." He laughed. "Ok fine, hold on." He went to her kitchen to get the wine glasses. "You can unpack it you know?" He chuckled as he walked back to were she was with two glasses in hand. "I didn’t bring you anymore candy though."

"Thats true you could, but you should always save the best part for last" she teased. Waiting for him to get back, she chuckled at his statement. "I could have but I didn't want to mess up your vision for this date and set something up wrong" she said smiling sweetly. She moved closer to him taking one of the glasses from his hand "That's okay, I have all the candy I need right here.." she said lowly before kissing his lips again.

"Mmm, well, that tasted awful, but my reward is kisses so I am very ok with this." He laughed before kissing her again. "So now what? We could eat? Or we can make out and eat later. You pick." He said as he kissed down her jaw towards her neck.

"Shush, stop being such a baby it wasn't that bad. But I have a feeling you'll be getting more rewards like that tonight" she said smiling against his lips as she kissed him back. She bit her lip and let her head tilt slightly to the side "You know, you're really tempting me to say eat later" she groaned "But you're not supposed to have your desert first" she teased "So if we eat now, we have way more time to make out later"

"Proper cuddles are super important so yes, those too." He laughed as she hugged him. "I did yea," He sighed, "Fine if it will make you happy, then I’ll eat one.” He kissed her pulling one from the bag.

"It would make me very happy" she said smiling sweetly and batting her lashes at him before she had a thought "Here, since you hate them so much I won't make you suffer completely for my happiness" She said taking the Twizzler from his hand and putting one end in his mouth and the other in her so they could eat it "Lady in the tramp" style kissing him afterwards. "See that wasn't so bad was it?"

"Yea me too, I can give proper hugs again," He smiled at her softly. "It’s been a good day, long but good." He didn’t know why hugging her was such a great feeling, but he decided not to question it. "I brought you something," He opened the basket with hand, pulling out the bag of Twizzlers. "Figured you’d want these, although I still don’t know why."

"Proper hugs, and proper cuddles" she corrected him. "Well at least it was good." She looked at him with anticipation when he told her he brought her something and waited for him to grab whatever it was. Once she saw what it was she smiled excitedly "You remembered? awww babe thank you" she said hugging him again and kissing his lips softly before taking the bag to rip it open and grab one. "You have to eat one with me" she said trying to convince him to eat just one.

"It wasn’t that much trouble and I wanted to it is perfectly fine.” He walked in a put the basket on the coffee table before turning to her and opening his arms for a hug, He hugged her tightly. “I missed you.” he whispered before pulling back to kiss her softly. “How’s your day been?” He was still holding on to her waist.

"Well I apprecaite all of it, and you. This is already turning out to be the perfect first date" she hugged him back tightly and sighed "I missed you too, and I'm so glad I get to have both of these arms back" she chuckled before kissing him back just as sweet and gently as he did her. "My days been okay, its even better now" she told him, looking into his eyes. "What about you? "

He was happy she was surprised and not upset or anything. He smiled, “I thought of that, hence why I brought you the food. And you look great as always so no worries.” He stood there for a minute. “So can I come in or what?”

"You really didn't have to go through all this trouble for me. But it sweet, its really sweet" she said before quickly stepping aside to let him in "Oh, sorry. I'm so rude, of course you can come in"
