Honestly? I think there's something about the weirdcore and dreamcore aesthetics that helps me regress or just process things. Maybe it's because a lot of the things that happened to cause me to regress did happen around then? I found comfort in it soon after going through multiple major traumatic events, so maybe that's why? Just a thought. I was finding myself looking for and craving weirdcore stuff lately even if people now would call it "cringe". Now that I'm thinking back on it, I was honestly drawn to those videos of entities behaving parental more so than anything else. I spent so much of my time wishing I was somewhere, anywhere else that it was just normal for me. I still find comfort in things other people would find creepy or unsettling. I'm not sure why I think this way, I just do.
