book 7 genuinely felt like a horror story sometimes, like those old dark fairy tales. one wrong move and everything could crumble apart. who's to say it didn't in some timelines?

A magicless student from another world, always walking with a slight limp. A quiet child with a hidden mischief streak, when his temper flares there's hell to pay. For someone so small, they're certainly more athletic than they look.

Ignihyde's playful Vice Housewarden, and childhood friend of the Shroud brothers. He's practically sworn his life to S.T.Y.X., and wouldn't have it any other way. Rumour has it, those specialised shoes of his were made out of spite for being told he couldn't wear his rollerblades everywhere.
Unique Magic: Prize for Rotten Judgement; Allows the caster to overwrite the properties of himself or others as long as he understands how it works.

[Vernay Belrose], He/Him
Pomefiore's quietest third year, hailing from Fleur City. His frequent squabbles with his housewarden hide their honest and affectionate relationship- just as his indifference gives way to his doting and indulgent personality. He doesn't mean to look so cold, but spending your childhood with a boy who rants to fireplaces will do that do you.
Unique Magic: Clockwork Rose; Places a curse on the caster's target, manifesting a glass rose that will shed petals over time. Should the rose be destroyed or run out of petals, the curse will become permanent.
