Someone educate me real quick because I feel im missing something. We're visiting Italy and I've only wanted to visit 1 building that I've had a slight obsession with, the Pantheon. Why am I not allowed to enter the historically Greek building [originally built as a Pagan temple!!] because of Catholic customs?? We were told that bare shoulders and knees were "No good allowed inside" and im actually pissed.
Fun fact! The only reason the Pantheon still exists is because it was "gifted" to the Catholics to be used as a church BECAUSE THEY THREATENED TO DESTROY IT ALMOST 500 YEARS AFTER IT WAS BUILT.
Please someone rationalize this for me
