Note: Christmas is impure.
void-of-musesâ:
âTchâŠâ The wooden spoon being used to stir the pot would be tapped on the rim to clear any access broth⊠before swiftly being used to crack across one of those hands invading her personal privacy.
âFor someone who invited themselves to dinner youâre trying awfully hard to get kicked out of this campsite.â
Not that Seija really had the capability to make good on her threat.Â
âAnd yet,â she opens her arms out, with a smug expression to dig into them, âhere i am.â The shortest way to point out all she really wants to speak.
If only there was a form of understood sign language, but rather she speaks in short bursts and gestures. Unable to say things like, âYou say that as if we both donât know that if I donât and be kind to you, youâll kick me out for good. That you will be contrary to however I behave around you. You can only stand to be around people that mess with you from time to time.â
But perhaps itâs for the best sheâs effectively mute for that. But oh is the desire strong to rub it in.
void-of-musesâ:
âCould you not do that while Iâm trying to cookâŠ?âÂ
Seija was at least done trying to fight the Lunarianâs affection, but that wasnât exactly to imply that Seija was used to it⊠or even at all receptive. Even while she was only paying marginal attention to stirring the fresh pot of stew on the campfire, she would still use that, of all things, as her excuse to not want to be touched.Â
âSure sure.â
So she says, and itâs not entirely untrue because she did stop to their wish.
Oh but who here invented being contrived in the first place? Sheâs hovering her hands there, right off of them. Going through the entire motions again as she was. Trying to phase her like someone holding a finger right in front of your face inbetween your eyes.
Trying to make Seija still be bothered by it, but without the benefit of physical affection at all. After all, she wants to hear Seija say she wants it. So why not do something mean to her to get that?
âNo one should bully that kitsune that much that intensely.â
âOops.â
@void-of-muses
Sagume starts to brush her fingers through the black hair of her ward on the sides of her head. Sorry, was it ever agreed Seija was to be her ward? Because it sure seems like sheâs making that choice without her.
Although she has a plan when her little amanojaku starts being contrived with her.
void-of-musesâ:
ââŠâ
âLike a⊠an amanojaku? I mean⊠duh, yeah I know the storyââ Wait⊠why did Sagume hesitate?Â
⊠Then Seija realized, and she grabbed Sagume by the collarâŠ
âSay it! Say Iâm an amanojaku! Make it untrue, you bitch!â She was now going to shake Sagume.
Oh dearâŠ
Sagume quickly pried Seijaâs hands off her collar, but contrary to backing up she grabs Seija into a hug. Uttering only a single word with her head over Seijaâs shoulder.
âFamily.â
void-of-musesâ:
â⊠Yeah, none of that either. In fact, why do you even care?â
âIs it not obvious?â
âBorn from me, part of me, shares my contrarian nature. You are like a...â
âOop, almost made that not true. I canât say it. I can only hope she fills in the blanks.â
Said glaring.
void-of-musesâ:
âSpeak a word of it to her and Iâll see to yanking your other wing.â
âBesides⊠sânot like Iâm particularly thrilled about it myself.â
âNot a chirp: no involvement. Excluding glaring.â
âThats who you get a crush on?â
A particular miko is now under this godâs scrutiny for amanojaku ward related case.

Starter With: @outsidercocktailâ (Luna Child)
In a musky room in the Lunar capital on the dark side of the moon, sits Sagume. Her figure, and her reading material both warmly lit with a flickering lone candle on the desk. Her finger drags a page across periodically, her eyes always searching. These are her nights constantly spent. Not tirelessly, but constantly.
  âAh-â
She taps the message where she just read, leans back to mull, humming to herself. Satisfied, she stands, and blows out her candle.
She left on her expedition bright and early, managing to arrive at the Hakurai Shrine mid-day. But this is not her destination, walking past the building even, and going behind the building into the brush and continuing her pace steadily. Her mind was set on a very particular fairy to chance across at their home. Her knowledge from the lunarian report she read yesterday.
Hopefully who sheâs looking for is there but she knows itâs up to chance. Especially since theyâre a playful fairy theyâre most likely to be somewhere else and up to hijinks. Knowing that, she wouldnât use her words so carelessly to-
âIts certain Luna Child isnât home today.â
âOh, did I do that? Oops.â Without a hint of regret in her voice.
clock-corpseâ:
Sakuya turned around when she felt prying eyes on her to see a woman with silver hair and one wing. It was odd, but not odd enough for Gensokyo.
âIs there something I may assist you with, madam?â Nevertheless, this woman piqued her curiosity.
This isnât the work of something she said, right? After all thereâs plenty of times she caused some arbitrary weird changes to the world carelessly. But no, no she canât recollect anytime she mentioned anything with a maid. And even then, the only maid she can think she would talk about would be about herself in the past.
But... this is worth looking into. Just to make sure.
âDo you have a master?â
