Cream Abundance
This is a rose I have in my patio garden. I took the pic indoors some time ago with the rose laid on a small mirror and with a white background. It's Been A Long Time!

I hadnāt realised how long itās been since I last posted anything here. My only excuse is that āLifeā intervened and I seemed to have so much to cope all at the same time, which depleted my energy ā even for taking pictures.

I donāt think Iāve ever come across such an interesting tree before!
As it appears to be native to swampy areas of N.America, I wonder how it came to be here in Sussex at the Ifield Mill Pond and Bewbush Water Gardens?Ā I wonder if, like the Tilgate Lake and Park, the place was originally part of a private estate? That would account for the trees being introduced here as a specimen no doubtā¦.ā¦

Iāve often wondered about this tree that Iāve passed every time Iāve walked around the local lake. I obviously havenāt caught it at its most spectacular up until now!Ā When I got back home I took the time to search on line for its name but of course, it wasnāt showing up in any British tree lists, so I widened my search and it turned out to be a conifer.
