2025 was the worst year of my life by far but one thing i miss about it is how gentle and forgiving i was with myself all throughout. i never blamed myself for what i was feeling, never set impossible standards upon myself, and understood i needed time to rest and recover and that just surviving was ok. and now that i'm doing much better i immediately default back to thinking i should be Always Happy and Always On Top Of Everything and the Best Version Of Myself Ever and feel like crap when i can't meet that
