She shrugged. “Well we’re going to be married soon enough,” she rationalized. “Sure. What do you have?”
Dax laughed at that. “Oh great a method actor. I make a mean Bantha stew if that sounds good to you.”

She blushed, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. She didn’t get compliments all that much. Except for when she got cat called in the underbelly of planets. “You’re not so bad looking yourself.” She replied. She didn’t much know how to give compliments either.
Dax grinned. “Didn’t think Jedi were up for flirting... Not that I am complaining, mind you.” He chuckled, moving into the kitchen. “Hungry?”

“Don’t take it personally. The council tends to compartmentalize things. We’re married business people. Well you are at least. You’re the wealthy businessman and I’m your doting wife. We’re coming cause we heard about possible kyber crystals for sale and wanted to get our hands on them.”
“Sounds good... Couldn’t have picked a prettier false bride either.” He grinned, stepping out of the room to move back to the common area.

“No need to apologize. All part of the job. Though with the down time we have more time to get to know each other and the people we’re pretending to be. Which could be life or death later on.” Truth be told, prepared or not she did not like long flights. She just wanted to get boots on the ground and get going.
“Well they wanted us to go with the guise of a married couple... They didn’t give me a lot of details.”

serilda-hunter:
“As long as it takes to confirm or deny the rumors. And try to get the crystals back if we have to. I’ve been on long assignments before. My Master hates when I go alone though. At least I have you this time.” She said, smiling. A bare room was home for a Jedi. Their minimalistic nature not giving them much to decorate with.
“Well I hope I can be good company to you. We’ve got a lot of down time. We’re going to be traveling for a while before we even reach the system.” He sighed, adjusting some settings on a wall panel. “Sorry the climate controls in here tend to get a little out of sorts. You might wake up cold a few times.”

She stood, grabbing her bag and following after him. “Your ship isn’t really that bad.” She said. “It’s got a working life support system and hyperdrive.” She’d been on ships that hadn’t. That had been interesting.
As he walked, he chuckled. “Well, t’s about four-thousand years old, Serilda. It’s an antique.” They arrived and he opened the door, stepping inside. “Here we are. Make yourself at home. I don’t know if they told you how long you’d be out here, but it will be a couple weeks at the least.”

The young mermaid nodded a bit as he tried to soothe her. She could feel the atoms of her skin slowly starting to close up the wound, but the gash was deep so she knew that she would have to be here a while with this handsome young man.
Olivia looked up at him and studied his face slowly, soaking up every detail. She opened her mouth and spoke very softly, her voice sounding like the sweet twinkle of bells.
“Thank you…”
Dax smiled softly, his eyes unable to leave hers. “It’s no trouble... I couldn’t just leave you there.”

“Yup,” she said, placing in the last of the coordinates into the Nava computer. “We’re good to go.” She smiled at him, sitting down in her seat so he could take off.
Dax grinned, going through the takeoff procedures quickly and getting them on their way. After they had made the jump, he stood, patting her shoulder. “Come on, I’ll show you to the guest quarters.”

“Of course,” she said, walking up the ramp. She set her bag down next to her ship when she entered the cockpit. She plotted their course to the Separatists planet as Dax worked outside. She enjoyed having something to do. Most people insisting on doing the work themselves.
Dax soon came and joined her, sliding into the pilot’s seat and grinning at her. “Got it? I’m ready to take off as soon as we have the flight plotted.”
heartasstrongaskyber:
“Dax I will smack you.”
“And I’ll bite you.”

Serilda chuckled. “I’ve flown with Master Skywalker. And his ship makes yours look brand new. Not that you heard me say that. But I’ve learned cosmetics doesn’t prove how good a ship is. Anything I can do to speed this along?” She asked.
“Well if you wouldn’t mind heading to the cockpit and plotting the lightspeed jump for me, then I can get everything secured back here. I’ve got no astromech, so I do it the old fashioned way.”

After the briefing Serilda ran up to her room to grab a couple things for the trip, before saying goodbye to her master. She promised to behave and try her best to come home safe. She rushed down the halls toward the landing platform, not exactly running, cause that was frowned upon, but not walking either.
When she arrived she slowed to a walk, nodding her head to the clones and civilians on duty. She kept a friendly smile on her face, her robe concealing her lightsaber so as not to make anyone too nervous of her presence. She was only a padawan after all. She had her small bag of things slung over her shoulder. She walked up to the ship the council had told her to come to, giving it a once over. It looked like a ship Master Skywalker would have liked to work on.
When the owner of the ship came up to greet her she did a small bow before offering her hand to shake. “I’m Serilda. You must be Dax.”
Dax smiled, nodding. “That’s right. Good to have you aboard. Let’s get this show moving. I want to beat the traffic to the defense grid.” He smiled, moving back up the ramp and running a few security checks. “Make yourself at home and no, my ship is not a hunk of junk... Despite what the last three Jedi I flew said about it...”
Don’t you dare start with me.
“I will start with you if I want to start with you, hot lips.”

Olivia reached up slowly to cup his cheek into her hand. She wanted to get a sense of his aura to see if she could trust him. The warmth of his pure soul soon washed over her and she slowly relaxed into him, allowing him to tend to her wound.
Remembering the cut made the mermaid grimace in pain, her face distorting a bit. A frown forming on her face as her eyes got a bit red like she was about to cry.
Dax brought one hand up, cupping her cheek and humming softly. “Hey hey... It’s okay. It’s okay. I’ve got you.” He tended to her wound, careful to cause her as little pain as possible.

Moving her further up the beach made her hair move out of her face to expose her beauty. Her full and plump lips that were slightly parted, being her most defining feature on her face. She was breathing, but just ever so slightly. It took her a few moments but eventually her eyes started to slowly open. Exposing their stormy sea grey hue. Once her eyes were opened all the way, she was startled to find herself resting in a humans lap. She made a move to lurch upwards, but let out a loud groan as pain stabbed through her abdomen.
Dax laid his hand on her abdomen, shaking his head. “Hey hey... Easy. You’ve got a pretty bad cut. It’s okay. I’m not going to hurt you.”
