This takes place after Kiel's revival 🙂‍↕️ Kiel starts feeling resentful towards Hunter for bringing him back to life and inadvertently forcing him to live with the consequences of his vengeful villain arc

At his core, Hunter is a selfish man. Kiel is the only person who has ever truly known and accepted him, so Hunter would rather revive Kiel and make him live with the weight of his wrongdoings than lose him completely
