He had his ways of tracking someone down and even if he did not care who it was, he eventually found someone. In this case, he wanted to find this specific worm so he would need the aid of the Empire. After all there were a lot of skilled Coderadicators under the Condesce’s command, that surely would be glad to aid the Grand Highblood, in order to avoid culling.

Would a fight or a flight response be better in the long run? He knows he cannot hope to defeat someone like the subjugglator, specially not with his current strength. Even as an adult, he was still a mutant blessed with endurance, not physical prowess. He could probably endure the Highblood’s so called punishment (what a grub, honestly) far beyond what most mutants would, but he wasn’t too keen on becoming someone’s punching bag simply because they couldn’t handle trolling. So he might as well prepare, check up on traps and find a spot where he could hopefully ride out the storm.

Ugh. Stupid highbloods and their need to inconvenience others with their bullshit.

Great. Wonderful. Just what he needed to make this day even worse, and it hadn’t even begun proper. He’d just come back from hunting, it’d been a slow day. Now he’d been connected to a murderclown and had managed to piss him off, which only served to aggravate him further. He had traps around his territory, and his lusus was fortunately off elsewhere and away from the upcoming mess.

Yikes, so the stories about his foul temper were also accurate. Nanuuk typed in grey, as did most hemoanonymous trolls he’s met... Which frankly weren’t many. Most don’t make it far enough to be considered adults, as they were either shipped to their deaths or outright culled in infancy. Still, he seems almost impassive in spite of the fact he can practically feel the rage radiating off of his screen.

The things he’d heard of this purpleblood were spoken in hushed tones, particularly that those kill rates were off the charts. Nanuuk may be the lowest of the low, but he was certainly not stupid. He wouldn’t have been able to remain alive all these years had it not been for his cunning. And perhaps also due to his freakish endurance, but that was another story.

Well, there he went. Nanuuk honestly didn’t like how the guy assumed he was even entitled to anything, let alone knowing someone’s identity simply because he was upset over not knowing and confused as to how they connected. Hell, he felt that way and you didn’t see him acting like a spoiled grubbling.

So he was as volatile as he’d heard. If this was indeed the purpleblood, though what would anyone gain from impersonating him? Talking to him sounded like a whole lot of nos, but if he didn’t respond it was likely the other would become even more upset.

What? That couldn’t be right. It made absolutely no sense that he’d be able to connect with that absolutely wreck of a subjugglator. He may live as a hermit, but knowing his enemies was probably another reason he’d outlived his prognosis. Still, this definitely wasn’t good news. This walking hazard would be the last troll the mutant wanted to speak with at any given time.

Perhaps if he didn’t say anything, the other would go away. Not really.
