[Star Wars 最後のスター・ウォーズ] Kabuki mash-up version of the recent trilogy, filmed in November 2019.

Original Star Wars was heavily inspired by old school Japanese movies (Hidden fortress especially), it’s nice to see history coming full circle ;)

As usual, Ichikawa Ebizo XI is dashing on stage as Kylo Ren, I am so thankful for his willingness to make Kabuki more accessible and modern!

Kabuki Preservation Society is a GREAT youtube channel which have lot of kabuki plays online, many with english commentary. Go have a look if you wish to discover Kabuki! (do you guys need recommendations?)
