It’s been a while.

To see that bit of hostility disappear so fast was quite something to see. She’s not his, he tells himself yet she asks to be corrected. Who is he to say no? Lips curl in a wicked smile, heels turning to carry him back to his desk. The letter opener will do nicely for this, he thinks as he snatches it from his desk, turns around again and flashes the blade to the seraph.
"Correct you? I thought you wouldn’t ask,“
Playful are his words as he chuckles under his own breath. Steps are slow, cautious almost as he takes himself back to where the seraph stood and he’s quick in using the knife to swipe buttons off the woman’s uniform top.
"Take that off for me, would ya’?”
Had she meant her apology? No, but by Elux’s good grace, any further act of disrespect would not only earn the god a ‘tragedy’ but also send one of the others in her place next time. Truthfully though, was it her place to apply the principles known of the childish god’s world to Fumus’s? No, again. At the sight of the letter opener, Sol stiffened slightly. What was he-? Oh. She had half the mind to deny and leave, but this was correction and a chance to keep the relationship she shook, solid between the two gods. So rather than speak out, her hands shakily came around. Watching them unclasp the buckle of her belt, freeing both it and the shrugged off overcoat, leaving the seraph in her black undershirt.
seraphdeluna :
“alright Mom, but thats also why I fly so much, to help build my stamina up!!” she is just going to laugh and let her fix her hair, wings giving a gentle fluff “besides.. even if I did I always trust you and big sis and big bro to catch me, and I’ll always do the same for you three!!”
Ever trusting Luna, that was always such an endearing quality of the small seraph. There’s truth to it too. Especially since Mercury has a tendency to zip around and if not her Mars somehow knows when things go wrong. “There’s other ways to do that too, and they’re less risky. Are you sure this is how you want to do stamina training?”
abusivity :
“If it’s anyone’s problem, it’s Satanick’s. Despite how good of a level he is on with Reficul,”
The words are hissed between clenched teeth, the God’s eyes automatically going from the seraph’s face to the wings that unfurl. Was she challenging him? Perhaps so but that’s a bad idea on her part. Especially with a man like Fumus. She must not know what a good wing clipping feels like, must not know what burns on her flesh look like with the pretty red marks illuminating pale flesh.
“Jeopardizing my people? Oh, my dear, you must not know I’m already the biggest threat to them.”
A casual admittance, one that his legs take to moving him from behind his desk to walk around it. To be able to face the little seraph more than sitting behind a desk does.
“I suggest, you’d best watch your tone or someone’s going to have to explain to Elux a tragedy.”
Instantly the bit of rebellion came to a timely halt. He’s... the biggest threat? Sol once again ruffled and tucked her wings against her back, mulling over what Fumus admitted. It was almost disturbing how casually he admitted it. It’s true that even Elux didn’t have much in the hand of being a rolemodel god. In fact it was usually her and the others that kept tabs on responsibilities. Mostly because inhabitants were playmates to the god, and such care and other duties weren’t in their interest at all. But for the people to think that their own god is their biggest threat... A cold chill darted down Sol’s back but never once did she look away from him. “...Y-yessir. I’m sorry. This world’s ways are still new to me, and out of ignorance I committed insolence. Will you correct me, sir?”
abusivity :
A twitch. One at the corner of his eye at such words being said to him. To think he’d be sassed like this, and by someone who works for an egotistical brat like Elux. How amusing.
Her words earn her a chuckle, and the twitch of his lips in a small, very small smile.
“You must think I have to take care of my own problems, don’t you? You must think it bothers me to have another God’s Devil in my world when really I’m only handing out the information on her whereabouts.”
He leans forward to rest his hands on his desk, pushing up on his palms to stand.
“After all, Reficul is not my problem.”
One. Two. Three sets of wings slowly unfurl, further disregarding her god’s warnings. “Unless you intend to have your life sink into levels that Lord Liliya can sympathize,” Sol tensed, seeing the god stand. She should stop, but the words fell before there was a chance to hold them back. “Disregarding a problem such as a devil waltzing into your world, into your own devil’s territory, jeopardizes the security of your people.” She could feel the bruises on her forearms from her own grip tightening in a vice. “One day that devil may not be Reficul. Can you afford the same incident the Gray Garden has recently gone through, Lord Fumus, sir?”
seraphdeluna :
@solarseraph
looking up at the other seraph Luna smiles brightly, both pleased at how she was caught and even more so at what she was told “really Mom?!” she asked retuning the hug just as tightly and laughing oh so slightly out of breath “I’ve been building up speed for about an hour and a half! maybe more!!”
“That explains why it was hard to stop you...” A gloved hand found its way on top of Luna’s head and began work to fix the poor girl’s hair. “But please be careful, if you push too hard for so long, you might drop out of the sky.“ Sol warned, but as it turns out it seems the much smaller seraph’s smile was contagious. “Jeez...”
abusivity :
“Well, it’s the least I can do,”
He mumbles as he turns in his chair again.
An eyebrow raises at the hand that covers her mouth and he can’t help but wonder if it’s the smoke. Not that he’ll stop but part of him wants to make her choke, suffocate on the ashy air that fills the room. She’s not his subordinate though, he can’t exactly bring any sort of harm to her. At least, not now that is.
“If it keeps that she-bitch out of my world, then telling the child where she’s at is only natural of me to do.”
To abide by the instructions had been her goal. To obtain the information had been a step above, being number one. She nodded admittingly and stared at the other god. But. Her priorities reasoned that the insults, while given leeway the first time, will be corrected with care this time. “If you truly wished to keep her out of your world, being a god, it should be within your authority and power in dealing with a trespasser.” Sol bristled slightly, not too keen on talking about the devil’s well-being so lightly. “As long as she had a fraction of life left, you wouldn’t be held accountable.”
abusivity :
“No.”
He’s quick to reply before the cigarette touches his lips again. A long drag is made, lavender eyes looking to the one who stood before him. Elbows find purchase on the armrests of his chair, fingers steepling as smoke is blown in another cloud.
“This is about whereabouts and location. She’s currently been taking her sweet little strolls about the darker part of this world. In Satanick’s territory. Why? Well,”
He pauses to tilt his head, eyes closing and chair swiveling about on its post,
“Who knows.”
Try as she might to resist the urge to cough, the smoke was anything but pleasant. A hand was quick to cover her mouth to catch the small cough of course. But her hand didn’t drop right away. While she knew Satanick, being a guest a number of times, and often a ‘playmate’ of Elux- not everyone was the devil in his territory. There were understandably some demons that thrive off messing with, sometimes even killing angels or worse. Finally after what seemed like an eternity, Sol’s hand tucked back behind her once again, allowing her to pipe up. “Any information is useful, Lord Fumus, so we’re grateful for your efforts.“
mom birb has been sighted, smol birb is going to fly very fast and nearly crash in to her for a hug ((beeeeecause I just hooked up her side blog why not toss the moon child at--))
Sol only had a split second to react, a second that was wisely used and both brace and catch the small seraph.
The impact alone sent the head seraph skidding far back, leaving heavy marks across the ground but still standing and squeezing Luna in a tight hug.
“You’re getting better! That must be a new top speed for you.”
abusivity :
Was that the reason why he’d wanted Elux? Perhaps. His memory isn’t the best. But aha! Yes, information. That’s what he wanted to discuss with the other God but it looks like he’ll have to deal with her little helper, wouldn’t he? Another huff of smoke leaves him, fingers coming up to pluck the cigarette from his mouth to tap off ashes into a tray.
“Right. I’ve gotten wind of that devil of theirs, the one they’ve been hounding. Reficul, was her name? Yeah, I got info on her.”
Reficul. Of all people the exchange had to be about, did Elux truly send her out of laziness? Sol’s grip on her forearm tightened. Or did they perhaps have some sort of goal to achieve with all this-no. No doubting. Focus on the task at hand. “Ah, if that’s the case, has she caused any damages or issues for you? If so, we could compensate for your troubles.” Although she doubted Elux would genuinely (and seriously) do so, but it was the responsible thing to do. Nevermind the warning of ‘think like I do and you’ll be fine!’. Just grabbing information without helping and then leaving seemed wrong.
abusivity :
@solarseraph
“So the child sent you in their place, huh?”
A huff of smoke leaves the God’s nose, his lips curling in a sneer at just the thought. Of course, they never took much seriously, did they? Of course not. Not Elux.
“I suppose you’ll do this time.”
The deity’s distaste didn’t go unnoticed, and Sol almost instinctively corrected his insults. But surprisingly detailed instructions had been given. What to say, what to do. The seraph had even remembered to fold and tuck her wings under her mass of hair before entering the office. It brought along some concerns, being so cautious. Since Elux- like Fumus had curtly insinuated- was childish. Giving warnings wasn’t within the god’s typical behavior. Yet they were insistent. “Thank you, sir.” Her arms neatly folded behind her back from where she stood rigidly, albeit uncomfortable but necessary, “Your request though, you wished to discuss information, right?”

“hmmm I see” he nods, a fact he hardly uses unless needed to deal with demons diving in to the mind to even pull out the best of memories yes… yes that gave him a few ideas now, but he would have to be careful, Taffy could take what he may try as a way to hurt him like the other said but he thinks he might be able to do something now, hopefully
“Find a way to get Fumus out of Taffy’s life without killing the god, and you might save him. No Fumus, no need for the defense mechanism.” In theory it sounded well, but finding out a way to pull off such a feat would be another story. The Lord devil was no idiot though, these days it might be difficult to think so but she knows how he was back then. “I mean it though, please be careful and watch out for yourself.”
shittestdevils :
“a difficult thing considering who I may go against with this, but I shall do my best to be so” already it feels as if a weight was lifted, no this would not be easy, of course it couldent be, but its a step forward “thank you Sol” to help Taffy… Satanick considered doing nearly anything, and it would be a bonus to him if it helped others as well
“Forgive me for any harshness and also any troubles you might run into through my suggestion.” Only a precaution, she knows full and well this pseudo-war won’t be an easy victory. “First thing to note- With what he endured, I doubt even Olive could break what ever hold Fumus has on him. There are two main parts to him. The one that could’ve been and the one that it’s buried under that responds to every situation. Even if he doesn’t want to do something, the other half that’s prominent will override it so much that he doesn’t even realize there’s a meeker half. This was developed for the sake of surviving what he’s put through. It’s his shield that guards him.”
“Satanick- I don’t know the extent of your abilities in twisting fears and the mind but I’m sure you understand why he perceives help from you or any other demon as a way to get him hurt since Fumus has a habit of ‘punishing’ him afterwards. If you try to reach out to him, he’ll pull away. As long as he sees himself as a seraph, someone that serves under Fumus, the head angel of the heavens above your world- he will always need that safeguard of a shield to instinctively rely on and minimalism what his god may do to him.”
