The Painter

Let my hands crack

let them become the victims of my own creativity.

It will all be worth it for my masterpiece,

let the color stain my skin

and

let the sacrifice of mummy Brown

be equal

to how it hurts when you look upon my work.

She is a bland brunette

with a soul so benign as a blank piece of paper,

however do not pity her

for she relishes in this muted life.

The meek often do.

It makes life simpler and sometimes even more fulfilling

to cheer from the stands instead of living for the world.
