Less than two months before his death, Adam Yauch inscribed three separate decks with the lyrics to 𝘐𝘭𝘭 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯’𝘴 “Bodhisattva Vow”. He signed and dated each one: “Adam Yauch—March 15, 2012.”

“In the fall of 2012, the Tony Hawk Foundation announced plans to auction off a signed skateboard on which Adam had hand-written lyrics. The song Bodhisattva Vow was carefully scrawled onto three decks (horizontally), and ended with Adam and Bucky Lasek (a professional skateboarder) both signing a fourth board. It was Bucky Lasek who asked Adam to participate in this endeavor. When he asked him, he did not realize how sick Adam was, but Yauch agreed to sign the boards anyway (…)” — Andy Katz
