==> After waking from their Second Dream, Cal struggled using their Excalibur frame (as it was the frame they were trapped in when put into the Dream) shoving him away all the way up until The War Within. They couldn’t bear to see their beloved Excalibur damaged like he was, with the wounds from Hunhow/Shadow’s sword still there.
==> Cal often goes on little ‘expeditions’ with Biz, be it fishing or wildlife rescue. They get to be themself for a little bit, learning all they can about conservation and the Venusian Flora and Fauna in the hopes of one day becoming his protege.

this .... dark refractory has to do with tau, and i have a feeling its what loid is trying to keep secret from me. its why he doesnt want me in the sanctum
i should probably farm some argon for the materials tho. i doubt she can go out to the void and get it herself given... everything. muck, i might need to jump back into 1999 again to teach her how to use her powers without an amp...

from what i hear it's like a giant bathtub and needs a lot of water and well deimos doesn't exactly have a ton of that these days. not to mention what's left sure ain't clean. i'd wager they're trying to purify enough to make the damn thing work
so like... a big sensory deprivation tank? i... dont know how i feel about that, i don't really like water either, 'bathtub' or not
