In preparation for my next installment of the sparrow, I took some time to copy the style of a cool twighlight zone comic I was reading at the time. Gave me some good pointers for style, paying attention to shadows and what level of detail to add

really awesome skull reference

Some /r/sketchdaily submissions from the past 2 weeks. I try to submit to these as often as possible but I don't always get around to it. And I don't usually do the "free draw" days. I'll post my sketchdailies regulary through here

working on skull forms from different perspectives. Way harder than you'd think it is. You can tell anatomically that this individual was large-nosed, possibly pointing to their ethnicity. The large cheekbones and sloping nose points to african descent.
